Goldberg got a win yesterday in Japan in just over 4 minutes. His record must now be pretty high about 180-3 and counting.

Yeah, but his total ring time is still less than one or two Flair/Steamboat classics

Feels dirty thinking about anything involving no-sold-berg in the same paragraph as Flair/Steamboat.

Knowing that Goldberg pinned a pretty good worker (and someone who was much better than Big Willy ever was) in under 4 minutes is dirty all on its own. Mutoh = Satan.

One was the loss to Hart where Brett wore a metal plate on his chest.

That wasn't an official match. Hart made the count himself; there was no referee.

BTW, I just lost all respect for you there, DMC. Please, please give me some sign of sarcasm!

He had two losses to Hart, actually - one in the World Title tournament before Mayhem where Hall & Nash ran in, and another for the title when Hart joined the nWo. He also lost a house show match to Hector Guerrero before popping up on TV the first time, so it's actually 4. Then again, it's FAKE after all, so the numbers are far from trustworthy.

The Hector Guerrero job never happened. It was to Chad Fortune (formerly of Tekno Team 2000)

He also lost a 'retirement' match to Totally Buff.

I hate being able to remember things, sometimes.

If you count tag matches, he also lost to Bagwell and Luger at SIN 2001. The really sad thing about is that among Luger,No-Sold-Berg, and Buffy, Buffy might actually be the most talented of the three. Oh wait, Judy is more talented than all of them combined, explains that legendary World Tag Team Title Reign of hers. Yet somehow WCW went out of business with talent like this, how could that possibly happen?

To her credit, more people remember Judy Bagwell than the next person to hold the title, Kenny Kaos.

Goldberg won his SECOND match in All-Japan and appears to be building a gimmick for himself. He's the guy who DOESN'T use the spear and the jackhammer.

Um...makes sense to me.

Hey, if he wants to build anticipation for when he DOES use the moves, more power to him. Maybe he can show off if he learned anything else in the meantime. I wouldn't be surprised if these matches in Japan are nothing more than ways to show off to Vince that he's gained an actual moveset.

BUT...it should be noted that none of his matches thus far have passed 4 minutes. Sorry, Goldberg fans, but it looks like he still can't go. Maybe Keji Mutoh will bring a 10 minute match out of him. Let's just hope Mutoh doesn't end up with a career-ending concussion. (Why yes, I DID have to mention that. Why do you ask?)

Does Goldberg still have 37 cops surounding him? I know he is just so tough and a fan might actually ask for his autograph without paying for it. Good thing the cops were there to protect him.

I know house show losses never count either, but I was witness to Hart beating Goldberg at one of those, too.

Hart wore a metal plate on his chest!? Man that sounds too funny, there's no way it was as good as I'm picturing it in my head though.

As for Goldberg, ya know, um, he's pretty good...if you're looking for a guy who can't do shit, can't sell shit, and ain't shit.

Here is every Goldberg loss EVER televised, off the top of my head. (And I'm 99.9% sure this is all of them...)

1 - Starrcade 1998, Kevin Nash via Scott Hall interference.
2 - Nitro, October 1999, Bret Hart via Outsiders and Sid interference.
3 - Starrcade 1999, Bret Hart via Roddy Piper screwjob.
4 - Nitro, December 1999, Bret Hart via Outsiders and Jeff Jarrett interference.
5 - Nitro, July 2000, Booker T, via (Sting? Steiner? Nash? Russo? I don't remember) interference.
6 - Fall Brawl 2000, Scott Steiner via Vince Russo interference.
7 - Sin 2001, Buff Bagwell and Lex Luger via kid with mace interference.

7 televised losses.... If anyone remembers anything else, PLEASE list it, but I think this is it.

The metal plate incident was simply an angle.... NO MATCH ever happened there.

Hector Guerrero's win was never on TV, it was a dark match.

He didn't win a few four corner matches, but he didn't lose them either.

And that is that.

I don't think that the Booker T loss involved any interference. It was during Goldberg's ill fated heel run. Booker T was the champ, and I seem to remember that he got a quick rollup victory.

Meaning that the only man to ever cleanly beat Goldberg (on TV) is... Booker T!!!

edit: Ok, so I looked it up, and I guess I was wrong. Booker T had some help from the Cat. The Cat gave Goldberg the feliner, then Booker T hit him with the Book End for the victory. Then Goldberg got up *imediately* after the 1-2-3, and kicked some more ass.
