I've been thinking lately that this season, CSI sure seemed to have been revolving more plots than I'd like around strange medical conditions/syndromes/afflictions but I think tonight's kinda took the cake. Not the best offering to put against Earl & Office and I have to thank them for making me look like a complete idiot for offering up "juggernaut" over in the Scrubs thread.
BUT I could be overreacting. Did anybody else see this show and am I just cranky?
FOR THE LOVE OF GIL, THERE WASN'T EVEN A B STORY
Whew - I feel better. I guess THIS is why I run a board

Heard a fluff bit where William Peterson mentioned that anything that's based in some factual element is fair game. Doesn't mean they should be used, of course. (See also: the episode with the personal trainer who harvested organs.)

It was just...boring. Alas.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE "NICK'S KIDNAPPER" STORYLINE?!
AND HIS INEXPLICABLE MUSTACHE?! (If ever there was a week for him to have it and crack jokes about it...this was it.)
Originally posted by geemoneyI may have missed it earlier this season, but why is Sophia still with them? I thought she would've moved on when Catherine and Gil's two groups re-combined at the beginning of this season.
She's a full detective now. She plays the Vartan role when Vartan's not around.

Concerning Nick's kidnappers....I bought the GRAVE DANGER episodes on DVD (it was a waste, as there were no special commentaries, making of featurettes, or anything; surprizing since the episode was incredibly hyped) and I'm still trying to figure out what Nick said to Grissom when he was in the box (when he was recording it in the box).
I haven't caught any episodes of this season, though. Is Greg back in the lab?

He may have said more prior, but Nick mouths the words "Gil, I never meant to disappoint you." Gil then replies, "You never did, Nick." Hope that helps.
Oh, and between the buzz cut in earlier seasons and the moustache, I think George Eads is either trying to ward off women or get a tryout with the Village People.
