If this leads to the reforming of WGTT that can only be a good thing. I always thought that Haas was under used in his last stint, after the draft that took Benjamin to Raw.
Hopefully, a team up would lead to increased popularity for both men, and the start of the rebuild of the Tag Division on Raw | Promote this thread! | | Mayhem

Seriously, I think Haas never got the crack at it that he deserved in WWE (that Haas of Pain move was a great finisher), and if he's coming back I would be glad to see it.
Do have to wonder what WWE and TNA would say to a married couple that is split between rival promotions, however.

Nah, it was definitely Shelton talking to his mother. It was like, "What? You're coming here?" (look of nervousness) "No no that's great, can't wait to see you! Love you, too." | Matt Tracker

I watched the most recent TNA show and sat through Jackie Gayda's five minutes of exposition for her angle with Jarrett with a mix of dread and hope that she would mention her husband. I hope they use him well and not just curtain-jerking matches with a Basham or Dupree.

This does make me wonder, though--if Jackie's feud with Jarrett isn't about a fictional love affair and if it isn't about TNA signing Haas, what the hell is it about? | Mr Tuesday

Jackie was contated by Jarrett to be his valet, and was promissed a hefty sum for that job. Then she tues in to see Gail Kim in the job she was promissed. Jackie wants the money she was promised for the job that was stolen from her, and she's plans to blackmail Jarrett for it. | geemoney

I'd rather see Benjamin and Haas work singly instead of going back to being TWGTT (or regressing even further to being Kurt Angle's flunkies) -- but if the alternatives are a strong push as a team, or the sort of half-assed pushlet Benjamin's been getting all last year, I'll go with the former. | geemoney

Well, that's your opinion. I happened to really like them- they had a good gimmick, and could get it done enough in the ring to be credible champs. Instead of setting up credible challengers, the E just broke them up. | flairforthegold13

That being said, she needs to tell Shelton "You have been floudering ever since you lost the IC Title. I know who can get you back on track" and she brings in Charlie Haas.

| #15 Posted on 3.1.06 1215.06 Reposted on: 3.1.13 1216.28 | | See, if this means they actually have something for these two to do then I am all for it. You gotta think that something's changed enough for them to consider bringing them back. The timing and circumstance of Haas' recall would suggest that he's gonna get embroiled in the Benjamin angle in some way. I wouldn't team 'em back up, but if it leads to them taking on each other at Mania then I'm all for it (Benjamin wins the IC title thanks to his momma, Haas calls him a pussy, match made?). And Palumbo is a Hella lot better midcard hoss option than Tomko, Snitsky et al. Make him Helms' bodyguard and have them feud with the returning 3 Minute Warning. | #19 Posted on 3.1.06 1910.56 Reposted on: 3.1.13 1911.46 | I don't think the E has figured out yet how to juggle the midcard since the demise of WCW. It was a lot easier to keep someone fresh when they could slip over to the other promotion and back every few years. Now that we're approaching 5 years since the monopoly, there just isn't a lot of veteran talent out there to bring in, and keep the rosters fresh. I think they're doing reasonably well with the developmental territories, but then you run into too many fresh faces without the years of experience in the craft (and I imagine most of us remember how well that worked at the end of WCW)
You can still bring in a Mark Henry or Fit Finlay for a short run, but there's just not a lot of buzz for guys of their ilk - it's not like that possibly underused guy jumping promotions to see if he can make it with a new push. Jericho might be the only one who will be able to improve his position by sitting out a couple of years (if he even wants to return down the road)
Back to Haas, I wouldn't mind seeing him get a decent shot this time around, but looking at the pecking order and loaded roster on Raw, I can't see him getting any more than a token "Matt Hardy, thanks for re-signing" push (and subsequent burial). Possibly better if he's returning for a specific purpose based off his history with Team Angle. | J. Kyle
