Mr. B, I use a little cheapie shareware thing that serves my purpose called GIF contruction set. basically, it takes a series of images and turns them into an animated GIF. Takes time, but it's free to try and it works. Of course, there are other, better (and more costly) tools. But this program works for me.
Duh. http://www.mindworkshop.com that's where to find it.

| #6 Posted on 5.4.03 1207.38 Reposted on: 5.4.10 1207.58 | other good programs I use are Ulead GIF Animator and JASC Animation Shop. Animation Shop comes with Paint Shop Pro. I know JASC (http://www.jasc.com) offers a free 30-day demo download so you might want to try that.
Another cool thing about most of these gif programs, if you have a video file, you can import it and turn it into a gif. It automatically cuts it down into the frames. They usually come out as big files but you can optimize them for a smaller file size (like my current avatar) | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
