Has anyone else considered that Vince may just be willing to trade his deeper and generally more superior Smackdown lineup for the chance to get back on Raw (and have UT, nWo, brock lesner and anyone else he wanted but had Flair steel from under his nose).

In other words, I think Vince will offer to trade shows with Flair. That way Flair does end up with the better "wrestling" lineup as many suspected he would and vince gets the old and big dudes and probably in an unrelated move Stone cold too. Oh and also Vince ends up with the show he feels is the original flagship of the WWF

I think that may be where they're going.

Makes sense to me, but I can't see it as a straight up trade...maybe a stip in a match or something.

I don't think there will be any trades. Heres why:

They want to create two seperate brands. Well, the draft did that. Raw is filled with the big wrestlers (Kane, Taker, Big Show, etc.) and women while Smackdown has the more mainstream superstars and cruiserwieghts.

Vince has always had an affinity for big wrestlers whether or not they had talent so he placed all of them in one division. With Smackdown getting the new PPV's it is important to have the more mainstream people there in order to sell the new brand.

Marketing wise it also gives them an idea of which style people prefer. Instead of breaking down ratings into quarter hours (which are pretty much worthless) Vince can see which style people really prefer.

This idea has been floating around my head since Tuesday morning when I gave the final rosters a closer look. What does everyone else think?
