Forgive me if this has been addressed before on the board, but what the hell happened to these guys? They were impressing the heck out of me and having some excellent matches and suddenly, after Bejamins injury -poof- they were only an afterthought. Have they fallen out of favor? Is this another case of creative "not having anything for them?" Perhaps the should move to RAW to bolster the tag team situation there. The Bashams get a match art SurSer, while TWGTT stays home? INCONCIEVABLE!

Um, last I checked, the Bashams were WWE tag team champions, and thus, SHOULD be on the PPV.

Um, last time I checked, the Bashams still sucked. They deserve no titles and no pay per view matches.

Just to put my two cents into the mix, for what its worth, I think you should give the Bashams a chance. They were good workers in OVW and have the potential to be a great tag team. Also, I think we might see TWGTT go for a face turn, which would set up a potentially good feud w/the Bashams.

Pardon me, but isn't "potentially a good feud with the Bashams" an oxy moron? I think the Bashams have potential, but saddled with the stupid gimmick the yhave been given they have zero chance of getting over. Split them up and let them work as singles.

Irrelevant. They *are* the tag champs, and deserve to be on the PPV. Besides, saying they "suck" is subjective (just like I think Kane happens to suck). Doug is the better of the 2, but both are good. They just happen to be overshadowed by the WWE's desire to get Shaniqua over, rather than the team.

As for Haas & Benjamin, it seems like they were teasing a face turn when Banjamin came back, but it looks like they've backed away from that for now. They definitely should have been part of Brock's team instead of Jones or Morgan.

Actually, I think it's a good idea that Hass and Benjamin have been off tv for a little while. They were really getting overexposed for a while there, and taking a break will keep them fresh, especially if they go for the face turn.

Quick question, but isn't it better that the Bashams have ANY gimmick then no gimmick? Look at how poorly Orlando Jordan, Randy Orton, and John Cena were upon entering into the WWE...and while the current gimmick might be lacking, it's very easy to see that the sillyness of the team can be dropped by simple beating the shit out of Shaniqua.

Haas & Benjamin are slowly turning face...which is a good thing and a bad thing...personally, I'd have much rather seen them over on RAW to team against the Duds, but that's not to be.

If TWGTT are going to be working Velocity duty, is it too much to ask for them to have a match with London and Spanky? Considering they're the two best tag teams in the WWE right now, I'm pretty sure a match between them would rule it hard. In fact, THEY should probably be the teams fighting for the tag titles.I hope this mini-depush ends soon, because Haas and Benjamin have been two of the most rapidly developing superstars that they've called up from OVW and both are getting close to being ready for singles pushes, with Benjamin being a little ahead of Haas.

Benjamin and Haas have been on Velocity the last two weeks, continuing their feud with Funaki (perhaps that last part only in my mind.)

There has been absolutely no teasing of a face turn during those matches - which may mean nothing in the long run - and they might be doing an angle where they're taking out people - Kidman's going to be out a month after his match against them last week (MCL) and Shelton KO-ed Ultimo with a superkick this week. This may or may not be leading anywhere.

"Didn't have anything for them (for this PPV cycle)" is pretty accurate.

Well, considering that Velocity is the ether, part of the Smackdown reality only when the E wants it to be, it fits within the logic that since Paul Heyman said that they have to "earn their way back to the tag team titles," they've been on Velocity doing just that. Personally, I'd like to see them continue their issue with Heyman by challenging his chosen guys, The World's Greenest Tag Team (Morgan & Jones).

And as for the Bashams, I think they are doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing. Would your rather have seen them go the way of the FBI, jobbed into obscurity?

Haas & Benjamin had the titles or were in the title hunt for almost a full year. I think it's time to give some others a chance. These guys have shown they can hang, and they will be back. Don't worry.

The Bashams in the mean time, are starting to develop a gimmick. You might not like them, but they will continue to grow and get over more in the future..

And what the fuck would TWGTT be doing on Raw? Feud with those great innovators the Dudleyz? I think they are better off on Velocity taking it easy for a bit.
I think I would do it the other way around, kick La Resistance to Smackdown and watch them grow..(their gimmick is deader than ever, they should get away from it and start afresh)

It's typical Vince McMahon. Benjamin and Haas were brought in with a strong push, put over a lot of people and now they have to "pay their dues". He does it to everybody. I guess to make sure they don't get big egos and to appease the guys in the locker room who might be resentful.

At least they're not being buried each week and jobbing out on Smackdown. The bad side of it is that they have a lot to contribute to the show and would make Smackdown better each week. A lot better then Morgan, Jones, APA, Holly, and the like.

The Smackdown Tag Team Division is starting to have some more depth:

Guerreros (for now)

The plan was to put Jamie Noble and Billy Kidman together as a tag team. They even got matching tights and the whole deal. Kidman's recent injury looks to put a snag in that. I sure hope Billy Gunn's not ready to comeback and they put together Gunn/Noble again instead of Noble/Kidman.

I love Knoble, but I think Rey/Kidman would be better as a team. They've got chemistry form working together for a while, and the crowd was digging them when they re-teamed not that long ago.
