With all the disgraceful behavior going on regarding the torture of Iraqi prisoners by dumbass reservists, I was pleased to find an inspiring story about a real American hero who deserves our utmost respect.

I first saw the story on the Urban Legends Reference Pages, and they've researched it and come to the conclusion that it's legitimate.

So, without further ado...

A Real American Hero

While I didn't care much for the "the media are pessimists" angle that the writer took, full kudos go out to Brian Chontosh for his incredibly brave actions.

Yeah, three whole sentences about the media. (all pretty much accurate by the way)

Perhaps every medal citation should be read on the news as well as the names of those kill in action.

But as well all know, that would impede with the media's agenda.

Wow...only an election year could make the act of giving faces and names and histories to the brave dead fighting men and women of our country into some sort of cog in the "liberal media agenda". The Vietnam Wall must be the biggest piece of liberal propaganda ever invented I suppose as well?
