I taped the episode and watched that part twice again, and I didn't notice this until viewing it just now (after having it pointed out for me, of course), but Dr. Candle doesn't move his left arm. Speculation is that its prosthetic, but what could that mean?
The shot of Alvar Hanso standing in the building is creepy!

I think they look similar enough that the man and woman on the boat couple feasibly be older versions of the man and woman in the video.
