Just a quick post to point out that today is the 7th anniversary of the tragic death of Owen Hart. Spare a thought today for his wife and kids. As sad as the deaths of Pillman, Guerrero, and so many others who went way before their time, to me nothing was as shocking as the sudden loss of Owen Hart. RIP Owen.
Indeed. To me, Owen's death is one of those moments where I will remember exactly how I heard it, where I was and what I was doing at the time. It shocked me even more considering Owen was in excellent health, didn't abuse drugs or women and was smart with his money. Just a needless tragedy sez I.
Owen may have been a nugget, but dammit, he was OUR nugget. Here's to you, big guy.
I just watched the Hall of Fame DVD and I was thinking about Eddie and Owen.
I was hoping someone would start one of these because in recent years I've been a little sadistic toward the topic and it always seems to get closed every year but I just loved hearing Bret stories on him.
I'm not going to turn this into the typical "RIP OWEN" yearly thread but I am going to say I sure wish he was still around like some others we've lost over the past five or more years yet I will say everyone misses the ones we've lost.
Where every the souls ended up we miss you all. By the way what would you all like on your free pizzas? :-D
There was something moving about a thinning-haired Chris Jericho and the widow of one of his best friends doing a PG version of his Y2J vs. Stephanie routine twelve years later. Not even joking; some real lonely road of faith stuff.
