I can't really argue with most of this list. I think the hate for Tony K is a bit much, but being in the DC area, I guess I've got use to his speaking/writing style over the last 20 years or so.

Highest on the list should be the guys who think they're the story, not the players. Stuart Scott, Chris Berman, Steven A. Smith and Jim Gray should be at the top of that list.
Thannon Tharpe should be higher because he's a mouthy ex-jock who gets very little right, and he has that thtupid thpeech impediment. How do you put a guy with a speech impediment on TV as an announcer? At least he's a studio guy and not out calling games.
I think they did get it right about Joe Buck. Lighten up, dude.
Dicky V, Paul Macguire, Joe Theismann, Mike Patrick and Skip Bayless are all bad enough that I'll turn off the radio or TV rather than listen to them. I would throw Jay Mariotti and Bill Plaschke on that list also, but they're not sportscasters, just sports reporters who I have to listen to. I can't mute them fast enough. | StingArmy

I'm a big Steven A. fan, and I'm ambivalent on Stuart Scott, but I totally agree with you on the other two. Have people already forgotten about the Jim Gray-Pete Rose incident?
