A quick reminder that Season 6 of Futurama starts TONIGHT (Thursday) on Comedy Central at 10PM (9 Central) with a special HOUR long season premiere! To tide you over until then, here's Zapp Brannigan to bring you up to speed on The Story So Far:
Some minimal spoilers. (There will be more nudity on the show.)
If you've ever listened to the Futurama DVD commentaries, David Cohen is a very bright fellow and he's run a good ship on Futurama the last 12 years against some daunting challenges. I don't think he'll ever get the credit he deserves - and I mean the Trey Parker/Matt Stone, Seth McFarlane level of credit - but I really believe Cohen is right up there with those guys as one of television's all-time great writer-executive producer-showrunners.
Lemme see if I've got this straight: First there is the 2-hour "straight to DVD" movie titled "Into the Wild Green Yonder". That's showing up as 4 half-hour chunks, called episodes 801-804. Has that ever been broadcast on TV before?
Then, immediately after that, are the 2 half-hour, new episodes, numbered 601 & 602, which have never been disseminated on any media.

Have I got that right?
Nope. The four straight-to-DVD movies (of which "Into the Wild Green Yonder" is the fourth and final) make up a 16 episode "season 5" (which is technically season 6 because FOX spread out 4 seasons' worth of episodes over five broadcast years, but there has been some retroactive regrouping to knock it back down to 4 seasons of FOX + 1 season of movies).
Here, just go look at Wikipedia (en.wikipedia.org). ;-)

I loved Cersei's walk of shame. Great emoting and camera work. She started out still feelin superior, despite being naked and shamed. The crowd seems careful..then they turn wild as they realize she can't fight back.
