Everyone has been talking about the Wii and the PS3, but the poor DS is getting ignored. Sad, because their game lineup looks the best out of any system. By the end of the year, there will be new Zelda, Castlevania, Starfox (!), Kirby games out. The one I'm most excited about, though... YOSHI'S ISLAND 2! It looks like you'll be taking care of baby Peach in this one.
Man, I have to get all of these. The Starfox game looks like it could be the sleeper. No more ground missions, no more missions on foot...just straight up Arwing fighting.
I can't wait.

Proving that no matter how disastrous the consoles are (though every sign points to a huge turnaround), Nintendo will always rule the handheld universe.
I'm pretty skeptical about Starfox being solely controlled with the touch screen, but I'll give it a whirl. I wish, though, that Nintendo would make Landmaster and on-foot missions unlockables, rather than scrapping them entirely. Those missions did have their fans, after all, including myself. And I may be in the minority, but I vastly disagree with those that say the last Starfox was terrible. I thought Namco did a damn good job.
Yeah, I've decided that I'm going to have to get a DS. I haven't upgraded since I got the original Gameboy Advance. It's time. With Animal Crossing, Brain Age, Sudoku Gridmaster, New Super Mario Bros, and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, how can I not? The only question is, will I be able to wait until the DS Lite comes out. It's only a month, but still. Now that I've seen all that, I want it now!
In the real world, WWE believes that no matter what our race, religious creed or ethnic background in America, we all share the common bond of being Americans. American-Arabs are a part of the fabric of America, and they should be embraced by all of us.
Seriously, if people haven't figured out by now to get a DS or at least get a DS Lite, with Tetris DS, Starfox DS, and New Super Mario Bros... I dunno. I can't think of a good witty comeback.

(What a first post after two years, huh? Geez.)

And don't forget Mario Kart and Metroid Prime: Hunters! Boy, I might just buy Zelda for three consoles this year (DS, Gamecube, Wii), and I'm fine with that.
I've noticed that most of the really good games on the DS (Mario Kart, Tetris, and I'm assuming New Super Mario Bros.) barely use the touch screen. That's fine with me since I think it's a fairly useless gimmick. Metroid Prime Hunters, despite being in development forever, had really poor control.
The reason the DS is good is because the games are outstanding. I still have a lot of doubts about the Revolution, but I like the DS enough that I sold my original red one and have a Lite on pre-order.
I don't think it has the "best lineup of games this year," but it's more than enough to keep me happy.
So through some wily ways, I got to play New Super Mario Bros. last night. Let me tell you...it lives up to the hype. Not only that, it blows it away. The game is absolutely amazing. It's easily the best game on any system released so far this year. The control is absolutely perfect. The graphics are really, really sharp. The music is awesome. So awesome, in fact, that the enemies dance to it.
So, yes. This is going to be a banner year for the DS. New Super Mario Bros. is just the beginning.
I'll probably buy this eventually because I enjoyed Attitude era last year and 100 CAW spots is awesome but I really want there to be a great Universe mode. Any improvements?
