-- I love Trish and her "plumber's butt."
-- Does Jesse deserve 2 weeks of footage?
-- Did Randy Orton injure himself doing that appearance?
and the big question:
-- Is it in poor taste (even for Vince) to show a recently-deceased wrestler (Hennig) as a jobber in a 1981 squash match?

I don't think so. Him dying didn't raise him to deity status where we have to remember him as WWF champ no matter what (especially since he never won it). The sport's rigged. I can't count the number of times Vince has done something to RVD or Booker T or something to make *his* guys look better than the WCW/ECW guys, and we've jumped all over it because the sport's rigged and it's stupid to think fans care about who wins or loses. I don't see any reason to switch sides on that argument.
Had he done the same with Miss Elizabeth, then I would say so because it was (seriously) front page news in a few countries a couple days ago and would pretty much be strictly a ratings/shock thing.

| #4 Posted on 4.5.03 1119.52 | It was interesting watching the Hennig/Ventura match. I never thought Vince would actually air footage showing that the WWF was once run in high school gyms. Also, it was a bit of being cute with the editing by showing Ventura interrupting Hennig during an AWA interview in what I'm guessing was late '82/early '83, and then showing the match from 1981.
I hate Swamprats. Payback for the Celts against the team led by a wifebeater/child abuser (he did break his kids collarbone in public). And 12 wins until Banner #17. | chill

| #5 Posted on 4.5.03 1226.23 | What was wrong with the Hennig match? That was the best match I've seen on WWE TV in the past 6 months!
Hennig was a master at selling in that match. This match alone should be required viewing for all WWE wrestlers and all newcomers - show them how to sell moves effectively and continue to do so throughout the match. I seriously thought Hennig was going to be counted out, even though I've been watching wrestling for over 20 years straight now and should know better. The match made Hennig look like a million bucks even though he lost, and Ventura was just sorta there. It was hardly a squash...

| #6 Posted on 4.5.03 2334.47 | I came in a few minutes late and saw Coastas - talking I thought it was a pre Wrestlemania Hogan/Vince match hype but it's an actual discussion with him. Pretty interesting and info on him that I had no idea.
Trish is Sassy- MMMMM Trish, I enjoyed those photos and enjoy the making of those photos. Nice!
Hurricane interview - was cute but I'd be interested if it was a little more serious. That is something that can work really good. Isn't NWATNA doing something very similar.
I really loved the Ventura segment - It was great to see Monsoon ripping him saying he had "limited" wrestling skill. That is just great LoL. Cannot wait for next week with the focus on Ventura commentary. That is when I really started watching wrestling.
Kurt our Olympic champion - Come back soon!
Orton workout- had it's charm but easily the worst part of a pretty good show.
Eddie/Chavo adventures - I think I'm the only person who don't necessary like these, some of these whacky gimmicks I take a liking too and some I have a hard time warming up to, this one if definitely falls under the latter
Ventura vs. Hennig- I was certain Hennig was going over in this match LoL. I'm shocked and pleased they showed the entire 6 minutes. And no there was nothing wrong with showing that match, I really enjoyed seeing a very young Curt Hennig in the ring again.
I must say a very good and enjoyable show

| #7 Posted on 5.5.03 0149.13 | Instant Rating: 3.91 | Oh, man, I loved that Ventura/Hennig match.
Hennig didn't look like a jobber at all. Just watching that match made me remember why I started watching wrestling in the first place, with top-rate selling and psychology. That match made Hennig look at least as good as Ventura. This is a rigged "sport," after all, and it doesn't matter that Hennig jobbed. he was never the WWF champ, either, but you could see his skills, if even in a prototypical mold, by watching that match.
So, yeah, I think you're crazed, saying that it was in bad taste to show Hennig losing in a match. More people that are still alive today should be losing in matches like that.
Trish's ass is fine.
I could give a fuck about Orton, and I'd prefer not to see him again until he re-debuts on Raw when he's all healed up. He' another guy that I don't understand all the love for.

No, you're not the only one who's not enamoured by these. At least in this one, they'd backed away from the felony offence level that they'd gotten to.

Sorry, even as a female I don't understand the love for Orton. He seems way too generic and boyish looking for me. Well that's probably just a matter of my personal, perhaps awkward tastes, since I like Nash and find Shawn Michaels to be more sexy nowadays then when he was younger. Hey stop laughing.
