I was quite pleased to see I managed to get stuck with only one 42 cent stamp. (And yes, it's a Christmas-themed stamp.)

AIM: # 3 Posted on 12.5.09 1423.02 | Instant Rating: 7.72 I foolishly waited until today to pick up stamps, instead of doing it last week when I could've gotten them for 42 cents.

Awesome, I saved 2 bucks. (edited by samoflange on 12.5.09 1620) Lloyd: When I met Mary, I got that old fashioned romantic feeling, where I'd do anything to bone her. Harry: That's a special feeling.

At my work they bought stamps about two weeks ago, and apparently they had no idea it was going up. They got two coils (100 stamps each) of the eagle stamp. There are probably 150 left, so that means $3 more in .01 or .02 stamps.
The catch with that scenario, of course, is that "weren't fit" is a highly subjective term. An it harm no one, do as thou wilt sounds like a great system, until you get into who decides what "harm" is.
