Hello.
There are 365 days in a year, and if you spent one day looking at each of the coming week's new DVD, Blu-ray, HD DVD and UMD releases in this list, you and I wouldn't be back for EXACTLY ONE YEAR. Fortunately for you, it didn't take me a year to put together this list of releases and reviews! Unfortunately for ME, it starts all over again in under a week, so without any delay let's move right to the
PICK OF THE WEEK: Whose Line Is It Anyway? - Seasons 1 & 2 (The W at Amazon) (UK, 1988-90)  Later shown in the early days of Comedy Central, 30 episodes on 4 discs with lots of Clive Anderson, Stephen Fry, Mike McShane, Josie Lawrence, Tony Slattery, Peter Cook, Griff Rhys-Jones, the guy YOU really liked that I didn't include because I'm a bastard, and dozens more - I used to get confused because the host of "Survivor" looked nothing like Greg Proops

"Whose Line" was at its best when Paul Merton was on, though Tony Slattery was a delightful fop whenever he appeared.
"One Foot in the Grave" was the inspiration for the 90s sitcom "Cosby". So it's probably a lot less like "Curb Your Enthusiasm" than they want you to think.
I once took a TV writing course from a staff writer of "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman". I was the only person in the room who had even heard of the show.
Re: "Full House" - I question the wisdom of buying any season set of a show that one can watch in reruns in perpetuity. But that's me.

I hope you like it, because I really wanted to buy it today from my work. But 40 dollars for 11 episodes (and that's on sale as it's supposed to be 45 bucks) is probably just too much for me to justify the purchase. Actually I'm still mulling it over, and it does have commentaries on all the episodes, so that might sell me. I only wish this set was perhaps 25 or 30.
I must say that I haven't seen a week where quite this many big (as in it was in the theaters) movies have come out today. Happy Feet, Pursuit of Happiness, Turistas, Van Wilder, Children of Men. Plus continuing DVD sets of Full House, The Shield and Seventh Heaven have made this a big week for movies and a possible big headache for me working in my electronics department.
