WORST PICTURE TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN (Dreamworks/Paramount)
WORST ACTRESS Sandra Bullock - ALL ABOUT STEVE
Fun fact: Sandra Bullock accepted her Razzie in her person and you can see the video here. Furthermore, a win at tonight's Oscars would make her the first person ever to win a "Best" Oscar and a "Worst" Razzie in the same year.
WORST ACTOR(S) All Three Jonas Brothers - JONAS BROTHERS: THE 3-D CONCERT EXPERIENCE
WORST SCREEN COUPLE Sandra Bullock & Bradley Cooper - ALL ABOUT STEVE
WORST SUPPORTING ACTRESS Sienna Miller - G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA
WORST SUPPORTING ACTOR Billy Ray Cyrus - HANNAH MONTANA: THE MOVIE
WORST PREQUEL, REMAKE, RIP-OFF OR SEQUEL LAND OF THE LOST (Universal Pictures)
WORST DIRECTOR Michael Bay - TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN
WORST SCREENPLAY TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN (Written by Ehren Kruger & Roberto Orci & Alex Kurtzman, Based on Hasbro’s Transformers Action Figures)
DECADE AWARDS
WORST PICTURE OF THE DECADE BATTLEFIELD EARTH (8 Razzie wins, 10 nominations)
WORST ACTOR OF THE DECADE Eddie Murphy (3 Razzie wins, 12 nominations)
WORST ACTRESS OF THE DECADE Paris Hilton (4 Razzie wins, 5 nominations
I like the results this year. I felt absolutely gipped by Transformers and it was 2 and a half hours of my life that I'll never get back, so it's nice to see that piece of garbage "honored".
I'm absolutely shocked that Eddie Murphy only has three Razzie wins. I thought they'd be ready to name the award after him by now. Who knew?

"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. Clearly the razzies have gone from picking the worst actors/movies/etc to simply poo-pooing on anything popular.

Considering they gave George Bush a Worst Actor award in a Michael Moore doc in 2004, the Razzies have never exactly been a bastion of credibility.

I thought it was a perfectly fine movie. Nothing spectacular and a bit too long, but certainly not terrible.
Battlefield Earth, however, is a fully deserved winner of Worst Movie of the Decade honours. I often enjoy stuff on a "so bad it's good" basis, but that was a hideously, stupefyingly, eye-gougingly bad film.

Your fact would surely be funner if she'd accepted it in someone else's person.

I thought she was one of the best parts of GI Joe.

| #10 Posted on 8.3.10 0837.07 | Instant Rating: 1.47 | | The Razzies are a shell out itself. Siene Miller was good as Baroness. The script for GI Joe was pretty terrible considering the Larry Hama source material. I didn't hate Transformers 2, but I thought the first one was pretty damn good and this was an utter mess. The fight scenes were good as well as including the Matrix. Sandra Bullock is awesome for showing up to accept probably due to her knowing she had the oscar locked up. A little shocked Megan Fox didn't win since they love to slam her for no apparent reason. You want the worst bad actor this year, the guy who played Duke in GI Joe was God awful. The Razzies seem to be a shot at the big budget films when there are some terrible regular films, did these guys see the YouTube clip of Last Season? |
