30 Rock completed a perfect quad-fecta of Christmas episodes on NBC Thursday night.
Julianne Moore looked great, but man, if I never hear another fake Hollywoodized Boston accent, I'll be a happy guy. I've lived in Boston most of my life and I rarely if ever hear anyone talk like that. I did LOL at Jack's line, "What douchebag from Southie did you end up marrying?"
I liked Pete's vendetta against Jenna backfiring on him.
One thing about 30 Rock that makes it different from the three comedies preceding it is that besides the friendship between Jack and Liz, there's very little camaraderie between the cast. The casts of Community, Parks and Rec, and The Office are all makeshift families who actually care about each other and behave as such. 30 Rock is comprised of characters who are wacky and wackier and rarely does the cast bond as a whole, unless there's a big season ending musical number.
No more NBC Thursday night comedy until 2010. God, I hate the holidays!
Loved the wrap-up at the end with Liz out-gifting Jack. Didn't see that coming. And also, Toofer, Lutz and Frank getting caught up in Liz's bomb threat to make Kenneth believe again.

I TOTALLY saw that coming. I also saw the bit during the end credits which it sounds like you missed - Jack definitely out-gifted Liz, in the exact way that I thought he would (which isn't to say it wasn't still hilarrrrrious) - I bet it's on Hulu!
Finally got around to checking out this show last weekend and have caught up. Better than I was expecting, felt like the last few episodes were really good. Like the main characters, maybe because they're often not as one note as they seem.
