This is the faces get the shit kicked out of them episode on the way to Wrestlemania where a quarter of them will get revenge. Sasha was one of the few to survive a beatdown and even turned Dana against Charlotte. Even then Sasha had a weird heel moment with Bayley. Every match ended on a heel beatdown or heel win. The tag match at Mania will be a triple threat thanks to Bullet Club interference. Nia destroyed Bayley and will probably get in that title match next week. Joe and Kevin, who was sporting a sweet KO 2 Mania shirt, destroyed Jericho and Sami. Even Reigns won. All heels went over.

The worst heel going over was of course the McMahons. Steph wanted Mick to fire someone. Through out the show, Mick had to deal with people not wanting to be fired or giving him suggestions. At the end, Mick pulled the first genuis face move in what seems like forever and fired Steph. Well that will never ever happen, so HHH had to come out. Foley hit him with Mr. Socko, but this the Game and we are three weeks away from Mania, so he is immune to everything even a Seth Rollins hero moment. HHH destroys both Mick and Seth. I am laying even odds HHH loses at Mania, but is our new GM the next night on Raw.

I was waiting for Foley to fire himself so he didn't have to deal with Steph's shit any more. Word is there's a new GM on the horizon after WM:

Sami Zayn is getting Dolph Ziggled to the point where I don't like watching him anymore, and I don't want him near Owens at all. The post-Mania reset can't come soon enough. Speaking of which, if we're getting that rumored Triple H stable, let me suggest Cesaro join it. Give that guy something better to do.

On the other hand, Jax/Bayley should be the new Vader/Sting. Let them go at it for months.

If JimBob's rumor is true, that's gonna be awkward for Hunter and Steph, right?

Cesaro bad-mouthed the focus on the authority figures at the start of the new brand split. Now he's the weak link of his tag team and the fans have been tricked into cheering for his partner again. Funny, that.

When Dana turned on Charlotte it sounded like the fans were genuinely instantly more into her as a face as Bayley or Sasha ever was. That's what happens when you actually book something properly. Good stories can get anybody over and bad stories can sink anybody.

Stephanie: Mick, you have to fire somebody.
Mick: I fire Stephanie.
Stephanie: No, you don't.

That's what they teased all night long? Nothing came of it.

Isn't Sheamus "Hunter's guy". Might as well put him in the Triple H stable too. They could use a tag team.

Okay. We get it. Stephanie is the immortal boss of them all and can tear down everyone.

I've never been more ready to see Mick go. This run just hasn't worked. Half of it is the character he is stuck beside.

I know New Day don't need the titles to get over, but why do they not care at all about them after loving them for a year? This holding pattern is terrible - please shuffle them to SD or something.

I did like BRAUN appearing and destroying Roman. I like him more and more every week.

I don't get how people just begrudgingly accept Steph & HHH being the source of everything shitty with WWE and try to look past it.

I understand. HHH has been fantastic in building NXT talent and trying to incorporate them into the main roster. Great. But EVERY GODDAMNED TIME HHH shoves his character into WWE storylines, he shits all over the product. Same with Steph. Why can't we just have HHH focus on NXT, where he excels, and stay the eff off camera, where he is the drizzling shits? He totally ruins everyone's enjoyment of the product just to feed his larger-than-Cena ego. History will NOT remember his wrestling career fondly, simply because his success is the obvious product of his relationship with Steph. Just focus on making NXT awesome and keep yourself and Steph off camera.

Ego. Too many times, I find it hard to look past Stephanie. She's just tiresome and uninteresting to me. HHH still does some things that I enjoy (the Roman beat down last year, his selling of Dirty Deeds being the most recent) and I have faith, god knows why, that he will show some ass at FacePunchPalooza against Rollins. If Mick's firing of her had actually stuck, that would've been an interesting plot development. Unfortunately, there was No Chance In Hell of that happening just before WrestleMania.

We should be talking more about Roman Reigns and awesome bump on the entrance ramp. Reigns is going to make Taker look like a guy who can ... still kind of go. Plus Reigns vs Braun next week! Who really cares about Helmsley's latest vanity project. The only thing Reigns failed to do is spear that old hick who was in the ring bothering him. Great segment.

Things actually got okay when HHH entered the ring.
he was piling on the heel heat by running down Mick.
Then Rollins shows up and people popped.
his initial beat down was solid.
But then it slipped away.

And I get it. It's the "we beat him down so you'll cheer for the huge babyface comeback at the end" but it's happened so often and we've seen how Steph and HHH don't get their come-uppance so we (and most crowds) stop caring.

I't's the same for a lot on the WM card. The idea is there, but the execution is lacking. UT not being there doesn't help his feud. Goldberg not being there doesn't help. Lesnar not being there doesn't help.

The 3 teams involved in the tag titles feud are decent to good and should be able to deliver, but constantly interfering in eachother's matches isn't helping them build it. It's lazy booking because it just makes me go "ugh..again with the dq? oh..so it's gonna be another match"

I assumed the women's match will be a 4-way match so I see why Nia would beat (up) Bayley. But now with Dana I'm starting to wonder if they're trying to take Charlotte out of the match and in another one?

KO-Jericho is still going strong. It's a shame it's for a lesser title.
And poor Sami. He needs to be away from Owens & Joe for a few weeks and just get some random wins. He'll do fine then.

Acutally that's what so annoying about WWE booking, more than ever. Guys have no matches outside of their feuds.
There is no chance to show you're actually good at your job because you have to keep doing the same thing over and over.
I think that's why the crowd reacted to Dana. It was different(ish)

HHH played the perfect game of wrestling politics, by getting involved with Steph. It also didn't hurt that he has bulked up to a size that doesn't look human.
