|It's January 23, 2009. It's a historic day.|
25 years ago today, on January 23, 1984, Hulk Hogan defeated the Iron Sheik in Madison Square Garden to become the WWF World Champion.
Hulkamania was born today, and with it the modern era of sports entertainment.
Check out the match as Hogan squashes the Sheik in 6 minutes, brother.

Yes. Similar to how a judge bangs his gavel to silence the courtroom, the bell was rung to keep the crowd's attention and quiet them down for the remaining announcements.

|Better watch it quickly before the WWE's copyright hounds get it taken down...it's quite an entertaining match!
The "Incredible" Hulk Hogan, eh? Huh.
If you listen carefully, you might find that Jericho will often use a really loud "ASK HIM" to mask some slightly less loud spot calling.
