I decided to buy it from Amazon - $43.99 and free shipping ended up being cheaper than CDNow's $41.99 + tax + shipping. Also, I could have given somebody a 10% discount on top of THAT by sending a "Share the Love" Amazon spam, but I didn't think to ask around before I bought it. Now, we'll see when I actually get it (since the free shipping is "five to nine business days").
I'm on the opposite side of the country, which might make a difference, but I've never really noticed a delay caused by their free shipping. It's usually been faster than the estimate.
Having just caught up with the 24-a-thon on FX, I haven't been able to convince myself to go for the DVDs so soon after. If they had Keifer commentary where they made him watch all 24 episodes in a row and talk about them in one sitting, it would definitely be worth it. As it stands, I think I'll wait for the new season of 24 and 24's exciting new beard to force me to get the 1st season DVDs.

That's just my 2.3764 Yen "Smeg off, Hot Lesbian Action." Dave Lister from Red Dwarf "The Nazis had pieces of hot lesbian action that they made the Jews wear." Peter Gibbons from Office Space "What's the name of the cat?" "Annoying Hot Lesbian Action." Randel Graves from Clerks showing off his people skills
I just picked up Sopranos Season 3 on the same shipping deal - came from KY and got to GA in 2 business days. Depending upon where their warehouses are, it can move pretty fast. Sometimes you get lucky with these things.
Since you asker. You've been warned. I'm not going to be deliberately vague.

It's about 2:30 long. It opens with Jack & Kim re-uniting. When Kim asks "Where's Mom?", they start walking together through the hallways as a news report praising Jack plays on the TV. As Jack approaches the area where the guard was attacked by Nina, he tells Kim to stay behind. Jack does the wild door-opening sequence, and comes across Teri, who has a wound on her forehead. As he unties her, she wakes up, and Teri babbles out "It's Nina. It's Nina.". Kim runs in, and the three of them leave the room together as the clock turns back around to midnight. The commentary stated that the originally planned ending was the one that was shown, and that it will help create uncertainty for the new season.
Is it October 29th yet?
"What happened to X-Pac? Who do you think is in the burgers?"
Somehow I've started three threads, none of which was what I was originally surfing for, but oh well. I think I'll go home. Seriously, can you beat sentences like THIS when it comes to journalism? More: Korean star is SKII model (newpaper.asia1.
