The NY Post (behind the new registration wall; god bless Bug Me Not) is reporting that NBC is getting involved in the negotations between Fox The Studio and Fox The Network over the 5th season of 24.
If this happens (and I imagine it won't; FBC will pony up the $$$$$) the Peacock would probably leave the producers alone enough to keep the show's quality intact (assuming they can find something to terrorize us with next year given that this year/day they put twelve things in a hat, drew one out, then did that plus the other eleven.) The bigger question is if they would launch in January like Fox did, giving us a NON STOP SEASON where I can't watch Raw for five months because Batista is Not Jack Bauer.
This was one of the odder episodes I've seen this season, so I wasn't as into the main plot as I probably could have been. But the opening with Snot repeatedly bringing in contingency plans was hilarious. Steve:
