I know it's hard to talk about this episode, when the previews for next week upstaged it by doing a bit that was too ludicrous for WWE, but I still thought this episode itself was amusing enough.
The stabbing rampage made the episode for me. Not only did we get Rene (in complete freak out) stabbing a guy in the EYE, but Jack getting stabbed in the gut, pulling the knife out, throwing it into a bad guys neck with perfect aim, then killed a guy he couldn't even see. That has to be near the top of amazing Jack killing sprees.
President Hassan is pretty bland character. I'm fast forwarding every time I see the False Identity sub plot, so Hassan is the worst character I actually bother to watch. He's lost all depth of a character with his personality shift, and he'll surely flip back another way as soon as the plot demands. I guess the idea is the loss of his wife, the separation from his secret love and the betrayal by his brother has caused him to snap, but it's not coming thru.
I do share his concern - can't seem to find his brother the last few hours either.
Warm up for the live action, big budget debut of Ryan Reynolds as the emerald ring jockey by watching the newest cartoon about Green Lantern, as I did. There's lots to like for Green Lantern/DC nerds. Review with SPOILERS: http://www.backofthehead.
