I don't have 2000 words in me, but I'm into 205 Live again, so imma keep it short(ish).
OPEN: Nigel still has his horrible grey-on-black outfit, this time with a shiny paisley tie (barf). Joseph has learned dress shirts should be white but still looks stupid with his green check tie. Rockstar Spud is here too, also in grey on black, but thankfully with no tie.
Mark Andrews (with stupid yet weirdly compelling hyped-up entrance) v Tony Nese (w/ 8 reasons why Mark Andrews has no idea what he's getting himself into). Winner get a shot at Drew Gulak cause IT'S ALL ABOUT GULAK.
TL/DR - This match was dope AF. Seriously, watch it. It's not MOTY, but it's, like, Top 5 on 205 Live match so far this year, which is something. (Andrews gets the W with the "stundog milli-air" as pronounced by Spud, followed by the shooting star press for the 3-count).
Spud on commentary is pretty good. Gulak watches backstage, wearing a grey 3-piece with a black shirt & PINK TIE (crooked though - at least he's wearing collar stays!). Only Gulak could pull that off. His post-match interview is horrid though. Stop scripting & let Gulak be Gulak writing team!
Sitdown interview with Please Sign Cedric & Mustafa Ali (w/ dope patterned short sleeve - I'm really starting to dig Ali's style). Ali tries his best to carry it but for the love of God WWE, don't let Cedric speak anymore.
For the Main Event we get the fatal four-way for the #1 contenders slot - Kalisto (announced from Mexico City? Kalisto is from Chicago wtf) v Tozawa (w/ awesome silver color scheme) v TJP(erkins) v Buddy Murphy (w/ strangely catchy dubstep entrance music). My choices who who I want to win this in order are Tozawa, Tozawa, Tozawa, and TJP. Spud is still on commentary. Is he full time now or something? That makes three face commentators which makes zero sense.
OK, Kalisto throws a move I have legit never seen before in my life within the first 30 second of the match. This is a 360 springboard plancha from the ring to the floor, but performed off a springboard from the knees, not the feet. Wow.
The psychology in this match is hilarious, especially TJP. The match itself is NICE. Murphy gets the W with "Murphy's Law" which is a delayed snap pumphandle suplex thingo.
OK, so no, Tozawa doesn't have Murphy's incredible almost-Tony-Nese-level pecs. I get it Vince. But Tozawa continues to be criminally underused. Is he even part of Titus Worldwide anymore? Wait a minute, wasn't he the whole catalyst of the Worldwide part of that? Anyway, I'm v annoyed he's not the #1 contender.
VERDICT: GREAT SHOW. Only two matches, but both were really entertaining, and Nese v Andrews, which by all accounts should have been a throwaway opener, was a legit ***1/2 match. The 4-way was really cool too, with a lot of innovative spots and good psychology. Sadly, the promos & interviews were TERRIBLE, but hey, it's 205 Live. You watch it for the wrestling, and the wrestling was great.
Well, here's my first impression of the ladies. After RAW, I might edit this post if I change my mind on any of them... Elisabeth Pros: As Freeway mentioned, she has the best chance of actually being a wrestler. Cons:
