Standard caveats:
-Some of the overall awards are available to both wrestling and MMA organizations. (Sometimes this makes sense, sometimes this doesn't.)
-I didn't vote. Maybe someone else here did.
-If there's no WWE/NXT in the top three, I'll list their top finisher.

A couple of thoughts:

If you're going to make MMA fighters eligible for wrestling awards, then you logically can't give the rookie of the year to someone who's been an MMA fighter for almost a decade. (I'm guessing MMA fighters aren't eligible for that particular award, but still....)

There's something oddly poignant about Daniel Bryan being runner-up for the Bryan Danielson award.

Has Lucha Underground really gotten that bad? I haven't seen it since it left UniMás (and I've never seen an episode in English), but it used to be good stuff. No one's posted about it here in a long time--I'd say I guess I have my answer, but a lot of things that used to get posted about don't anymore....

People were definitely disappointed with the latest season, but I think those LU votes are more a reflection of Impact improving to being fine and people who actually like WWE needing something else to vote for.

We're at an unusual point for recent wrestling history: there's a lot of meh promotions who can be disappointed, but there's no disaster show of a promotion like there's been since the dying days of WC all the way until now. People feel compelled to just keep voting for Impact or reach for AAA or LU just to vote for something. Those groups have their problems, but in the way most wrestling promotions have their problems.

Surprised that NWA didn't get any love in this. Ten Pounds of Gold has been the best weekly show running for quite a while.

Zack Ryder's ranking has to be a rib. Midwest local guys include Jake Dirden(first time in the 500), Brandon Espinosa(who's been in there for a while), and Jeremy Wyatt.
