Somehow, another year is gone, and with it, another year of WWE PPV Predictions here on The-W(.com). This year makes it 11, I believe, years that I've been collecting and compiling YOUR guesses for each match of each WWE PPV. A few housekeeping items before we get into the usual fine print:
-First, for my own sanity, it would be cool if when you post in the prediction threads, you could somehow be explicit about who you're picking to win. Most of you are fantastic at this, but there are some who post a bit of stream of consciousness back-and-forth and I have to take the time to parse who I believe they're actually picking.
-Know that if you post that you're picking someone to "retain" their title, I'm assuming you're picking them to win, and not, say, retain by DQ loss or something. Just want to make that clear.
-I welcome everyone to pick the pre-show matches...but also know that I don't count those in the actual PPV Predictions. If they're not on the PPV proper, they're not included in the PPV predictions.
-Speaking of not counting: I didn't count this year's WWE Network-exclusive Elimination Chamber show in the predictions because, well, it wasn't an actual PPV. I fully realize the landscape is changing and the focus is more on the WWE Network, and I'm sure at some point, PPV will be fully cannibalized. What can I say, it's hard to let go.
Now, other stuff:
I split the results into three categories based on the number of PPVs guessed. The top level is for those who guess between 6-12 PPVs; the middle level is for those who guessed 4 and 5; and finally, the lower level is for those who guessed 1-3. Since I don't think it would be fair for someone who guessed only one PPV and went 4-0 to win the title, I arbitrarily made the decision to make only those who guessed between 6-12 eligible for the big prize. It also encourages people to predict more PPVs. If you are atop the other two levels, you can also proclaim yourself winner of that level at least, even if it's not the overall crown.
Originally posted by andy1278Do you have to be at a certain rank/level/whatever to make the list/be counted? Looking back I did predictions for at least the last three PPVs of the year and probably beyond that.
Fixed...and a new champion emerges!

What sucks is that WWE has essentially banned the flashy high-flying moves. Nitro can do great corkscrew moonsaults and standing shooting star presses, and I wish WWE would allow him to do them a few times.
