Completely expect to get crickets on this one, but had to start it because my Michigan Technological University Huskies are in it for this first time since 1981.

Bracket (ncaa.com)

Here's my picks:

West (Fargo, ND):
North Dakota over Quinnipiac
Michigan Tech over St. Cloud State
North Dakota over Michigan Tech

Northeast (Manchester, NH):
Minnesota over UMD
Boston University over Yale
Boston University over Minnesota

Midwest (South Bend, IN):
Minnesota State over RIT
Omaha over Harvard
Minnesota State over Omaha

East (Providence, RI):
Denver over Boston College
Miami-Ohio over Providence
Denver over Miami-Ohio

Frozen Four:
Boston University over North Dakota
Denver over Minnesota State
Boston University over Denver

Champion: Boston University

You picked Michigan State over my alum SCSU Huskies? BLASPHEMY!

At least you made up for it with the last one. My wife went to UND.

Oh, and our household wholehearteadly cheers for whomever the Gopher hockey team is playing against. My two brothers-in-law went to the U. No rodents allowed!

As for the rest, bah.

Michigan TECH. TECH. Please don't give State anymore credit than they deserve. Which is none.

I am looking for a throwback to my days of living in the Mile High City before pro hockey and hoping for a Denver-North Dakota final

I know my kids are trying to kill me

Alas, Tech was bounced by SCSU in the first game after leading 2-1 late in the 3rd period.

Crazy ending for the Providence/Miami-Ohio game:

http://www.ncaa.com/news/icehockey-men/article/2015-03-29/miami-ohio-nets-three-goals-empty-net-falls-just-short-against

Miami's coach pulled the goalie down 6-2 with 12 minutes remaining in the game. Miami would score 3 goals to almost tie it and had the Miami player had an amazing save of a sure empty net goal (click the link above for the video).

YOUR 2015 Frozen Four is North Dakota vs Boston University and Providence vs Nebraska-Omaha. ND & BU are perennial frozen four participants but this is Omaha's first trip and Providence's first trip since '85.

I despise Boston teams and this is your typical Fighting Sioux hockey fan.

So... go Providence (or Nebraska-Omaha).

I haven't seen so many fun games to watch in a long time. The Hawks/Ducks game that just ended was action packed with rough checking, some real tough play in the corners and some amazing stickwork, not to mention Patrick Kane and Corey Perry.
