Rangers in seven because why not? Yes I was one of the many that thought the Rangers were donezo after going down 3-1 to the Pens, but before the series started I picked them in seven. Hawks in six. Too much offense for the Kings to try and stop and they are missing two Dmen.

It's an odd quirk of the new alignment/format that there can only be an Original Six matchup in the conference finals if the Rangers are part of it, and there can only be one in the Cup finals if the Blackhawks are part of it. And there's a very good chance we could get both right off the bat.

Let's Go Rangers!

Technically no, since if Boston/Montreal/Toronto/Detroit earn the 'wild card' spot, they move over to the other division's bracket. So technically, you can have a "Metro Division Champion" from the other division, for instance.

Rangers in seven
Blackhawks in six

NBC gets their dream market final of New York vs. Chicago. It would also be, if you can believe it, the first Rangers/Blackhawks final in Stanley Cup history.

A game late for predicting both series but the results of Game 1 don't effect my thinking at all.

Rangers in 6 -finally winning one when they are a game up

Kings in 7 because my sister's family can't pose with the CUP for their xmas card again

I was just thinking about the Blades yesterday, because the Calgary Hitmen were playing them last night. I was a little nervous, as you don't want to be the team that breaks their losing streak, but the Hitmen did just fine, winning 6-1.
