Josh Smith stayed in Atlanta, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett are still Celtics, Dwight Howard is still a Laker, and the Bobcats were unable to rid themselves of Ben Gordon.

Perhaps the biggest news of the 2013 NBA Trade Deadline is that JJ Redick is going from Orlando to Milwaukee in a six-person trade involving nobody else you've probably heard of.

The Warriors shipped a couple players off to go below the luxury tax. Miami traded Dexter Pittman for the rights to Rickey Sanchez and a trade exception. Not much else worth noting, but the link tells you everything.

The Knicks traded Ronnie Brewer to OKC and signed ... Kenyon Martin to a 10 day deal! The retro Denver Nuggets rebuild continues.

I thought Jordan Crawford to the Celtics was kind of a big deal.

The REAL fun stuff was the Kings' trade yesterday, but I'm currently in a quiet period when it comes to the Kings.

Thankfully, the Timberwolves managed to stand pat. THE PUSH TO THE PLAYOFFS BEGINS....well, we'll see. Either now, or next October.

Mmm. Seems to me that the Kings' GM is going with a scorched-earth policy with the franchise, and the new owners (whether the team is in Sacramento or Seattle next year) is going to have to suffer through a couple of very poor seasons and hopefully get some high draft picks to compensate them.

Well, the margin was 18, which is higher than I thought it would be, and I guess Will Perdue wasn't enough of a presence to spur his 'Dores to victory.
