Well if there aren't any more losses in the top 4, it will be up to the voters. I'm interested to see if they're dead-set against a rematch in the national championship game or not, especially should OK State beat Oklahoma. Would they put Stanford at #2? Given that Stanford is currently #9 in the computer polls, Would that even be enough? Wins over Notre Dame and UCLA aren't going to give much of a bump.

Unless I'm missing something, how is Stanford in position to play in the Pac 12 title game, barring Oregon State pulling the upset on Oregon? Tied in conference with head to head puts it in Oregon's hands, so any push for Stanford would mean elevating a team that lost by 20 on their home field and didn't win their division. Va. Tech could be the interesting team for the non-rematch club. There is guaranteed to be at least 1 more loss in the Top 3 on Friday. The computers really love the Big 12, with 2 loss K-State and Oklahoma being 5 and 6 respectively. Since they are an ineligible team does USC factor into the computers, and, if not, does that negatively impact those teams that faced them, mainly Stanford?

My apologies. I wasn't paying attention to title game tiebreakers. The fact remains that it will be up to the voters to decide who they want to see at #2.
And I know for a fact all the computers are still ranking USC.
