I brought this up in the Conference Finals thread, but the referees have taken over every single one of Miami's opening series games and tilted them radically.
HOWEVER...this is the first series where Miami's not starting Game 1 at home. So that SHOULD mean the whistles won't go their way all the time, right? Right?
Thunder in 6. Enjoy the sports media turning LeBron/Durant into a morality play.
So either LeBron and his giant ego get their first NBA title or the franchise that left Seattle high and dry get rewarded for their crimes against an entire fanbase.
Is mutual destruction an option?

I agree. I hate what happened but I can't hate on the players that had nothing to do with it. I love the whole make up of OKC and hope to all that is Holy that they take down LeBron and Company in 6.
I am not ready for LeBron to get his title. Not this year. Maybe in two or three more.

This really has NOTHING to do with OKC players. I love Kevin Durant and I'll always have a special place for Nick Collison. However, YOU say this...
I am not ready for LeBron to get his title. Not this year. Maybe in two or three more.
...and I'm sure I say with 100x the conviction.
I am not ready for LeBron Clay Bennett to get his title. Not this year. Maybe in two or three more. Not EVER.

He didn't flinch at all under the pressure of a 7-point halftime deficit. You could tell guys like Westbrook and Sefalosha were a little shaky in the first half under the spotlight, but somebody got all of their heads together at halftime, whether it was Brooks, Durant, or Fisher.
It really can't be emphasized enough how many weapons OKC has. Fisher and Sefalosha are major X factors and I don't see that kind of talent on Miami beyond the Big 3. Does anyone else honestly think Shane Battier's going to have another game like that?
What a great first game! Bring on round 2!

But that call on Durant for his 4th foul was just hideous and it really did swing the game in the other direction, since he had to sit out the rest of the 3rd. Yeah, I'm really sure it's a coincidence that after averaging 2.2 fouls per game in the postseason, Durant has suddenly have 5 fouls notched on him in each of the last two.
Seriously, NBA, don't turn me into Jim Rome and start calling out "conspiracy"! (As if I haven't already...)
EDIT: Post-Game 5, I have absolutely nothing to add to this that I haven't already said. Take us home, Jack Swagger!

As with most people not living in the Miami metropolitan area, the Big Three annoys me to no end, but I am happy for Juwan Howard, Udonis Haslem (his second title), Shane Battier and former Pacer James Jones.

As one guy on Twitter put it, it makes sense that LeBron won the title in the season was missing its fourth quarter.
Though, I guess the 'LeBron chokes' gag doesn't really apply after his monster playoff performance.
