Surprised this hasn't popped up on here. So far I've seen stuff for:

Ninja Gaiden III - Kind of odd seeing this in a modern setting but the old NES games had futuristic crap. Looks cool.

Resistance 3 - Trailor, no gameplay. More of the same, but that's fine with me. Dying to see where the story goes after 2.

New Saint's Row - Don't remember the title as I've always viewed these games as GTA clones. Looked like a GTA game surprisingly.

And the rumors or swirling about Halo 4...

Hopefully so, because I'm not really excited about much of what we saw from Microsoft or Sony today. Sure some cool games, but nothing groundbreaking.

I like Nintendo as the name. It evokes the days of saying "Can I go over to your house and play Nintendo?"

Looks like it will be called Wii U. They seem to be trying to reclaim some hardcore fanbase.

-3DS basically says, "Sorry for our crappy launch games, how about MarioKart, Luigi's Mansion 2, Super Mario 3D, Starfox and Kid Icarus by the end of the year?"

-MarioKart looked great. Everything from the old games, but now you get a retractable hanglider for big jumps and the ability to turn into a sub underwater. Basically it is if Diddy Kong Racing and MarioKart had a baby.

-Super Mario 3D is an all new game. Looked liked the lovechild of Mario 64 and SMB 3. Tanooki suit is back.

-I'm not sure if the Starfox game is a remake of Starfox 64...I think it is. You have the option of tilting the 3DS to steer.

-Kid Icarus Uprising looked good. Lots of flying.

-Luigi's Mansion 2. Multiple mansions this time.

-Pretty huge lineup there. Can't remember a system putting out so many heavy hitters in such a short period. Just went from "Who cares?" to "I need."

-Wii U will have a controller with a screen. You can continue playing on the controller screen if someone wants to watch TV.

-Had a ton of crazy uses. One was setting the controller on the floor for a golf game, so you could see the ball on the ground. Reminded me of the first Kinect teaser. We'll see how it plays out.

The thing I liked is that all of your Wii games, Wiimotes, nunchuks, balance boards, other crap port over to the Wii U. Essentially, all you need is the core system to get going.

I'm not gonna pass judgement until I see it live. But I'm not impressed. Ostensibly, I can do very similar things with th PSVita but with the functionality of a handheld. I have always liked the first party games and I'm also a fan of the graphics upgrade. Again, I want to see it for myself but it seems to be a slightly-better-than current gen system with an intriguing controller and UI.

I will judge the name though; it sucks.

-Uncharted 3 looks to be more of the same, but that's good. They are expanding the multiplayer. I dunno. I really don't like gamers obsession with multiplayer. Not EVERY game needs it and a lot of games end up sacrificing quality to provide it.

-Arkham City is going to let you play as Catwoman on some stages. Saw a great cutscene with her captured by Two Face. You can now combine techniques while gliding. So you can use the grappling hook, glide a bit, and dive to drop quickly. Essentially becoming more Batmanish. Going back to the multiplayer thing, I love how the Arkham team basically said "Screw it, it would make no sense to have 20 Batmans fighting each other."

-You know what they need to make more of? First Person Shooters.

I think Wii U has some potential, but even with the third party more adult game support mentioned at E3 I'm not buying that will be the case long term. I seem to remember the Wii starting off the same way with a Resident Evil release among others and them touting that it wouldn't just be for family/kids. Considering the main controls are Wii or this new pad, I think it could be another really fun system that still has to rely on Nintendo for quality games. I don't see us choosing the Wii U for Madden matchups or online shooters.

I do love the ability to play the games on the controller while watching TV.

Yeah the name isn't great, but we all bashed the name Wii when it was announced too and it made zero difference in the end.

If you played Just Cause 2? Because it sounds alot like how you can glide in JC2 and that's a good thing.

Never played it, but have seen footage and it is very similar to what they showed.

You could do a lot worse than picking up a cheap copy of Saints Row 2. I was expecting it to be a cheap GTA IV ripoff, but it's just so much more FUN. Some of the side missions are just plain ridiculous, like driving a flaming go kart or purposely throwing yourself into traffic to rack up as much insurance money as you can. There's even a COPS parody mission, where you're encouraged by the TV producers to inflict as much police brutality as possible (they even recommend weapons to use!)

It reminded me of being somewhere between San Andreas and GTA IV, but when you make a third person sandbox game, those are comparisons that just aren't going to go away. Even if you don't feel like spending $20 (or whatever cheap PS3/360 games go for in the States), it's worth renting for a week or two.

About Saint's Row 2; is there 'Man Dating'?, cause that totally made the game for me. That was great.

(Man Dating in GTA IV is the reason I only played it for 8 hours total and never went back to it.)

Forget it Josh... it's Cerebustown.

Saw some more footage of Saints Row and I can see the appeal. They just go totally over the top with it.
