I think I have it right. If you don't count teams twice for common games when one team has 2 games and the other has 1 game against the common team, then Jax/Hou swap places due to AFC record

AFC
1. Baltimore (6-2) North leaders, Beat Pitt & NY Jets
2. NY Jets (6-2) East leaders, beat NE

3. Kansas City (5-3) West leaders, 4-3 AFC
4. Tennessee (5-3) South leaders, 1-0 div, 2-3 AFC
5. Pittsburgh (6-2) 4-1 AFC
6. New England (6-2) 5-2 AFC

7. Indianapolis (5-3)
8. Oakland (5-4)
9. Jacksonville (4-4) 1-1 div, beat Hou 2-2 in common games (IND, DAL - KC, SD), 3-3 AFC
10. Houston (4-4) 1-1 div, lost to Jax 2-3 in common games (IND, KC - DAL, IND, SD) 3-2 AFC
11. Miami (4-4) 2-4 AFC

12. San Diego (4-5)
13. Cleveland (3-5)
14. Cincinnati (2-6) 1-4 AFC
15. Denver (2-6) 1-5 AFC

I know people are looking over their shoulders for the Vikings to sneak in, just because Favre's the kind of guy that'll play to the bitter end. But I very much doubt that the Vikes will jump the Saints, Eagles, and Bucs to get into the playoff picture. Vikings have to be done, right?

Right?

I like Atlanta's chances in this scenario, but boy, talk about a comically bad NFC playoff bracket.

I hate how writers are suddenly christening the Giants as an incredible team ... I seem to remember the Titans spanking that ass a few weeks ago ...

yes, that's one that may come back to bite them ... My fear is the Titans won't make the playoffs due to having a poor conference records.

Welcome home, men of the 2nd Bn, 127th Infantry, 32d "Red Arrow" Brigade, WI Army National Guard! Job well done in Iraq!

2010-11 feels like THE MOST unpredictable year in recent NFL history.

Cases in point: Cleveland and Miami. WTF!?

This won't shake out for a while yet...so stay tuned!

Anyone else getting a bug where threads from The 7 show up under The W? For some reason the Rams are showing up as the four seed in the NFC in this thread; someone need to let Guru know to get this fixed.
