Oh, yeah. I was going to do a UFL fantasy football league. Since there are only 4 teams it was going to have to be contest style as opposed to a draft style. In other words, you could start any players you wanted each week as long as you followed the guidelines. And the guidelines are that you can start any one player a maximum of two times in the six week season.
Assuming that they actually bother to post statistics somewhere, would anyone be interested in participating? If so, I will set up uflfantasyleague.blogspot.com .
I imagine it would work like the old days of fantasy football, where you'd have to wait until I posted the spreadsheet on Sunday to see how you did.
I loved the NFL Europe league and I would be all for a spring league that was not trying to be competitive with the NFL. I loved the USFL when I was a kid and the NFL is so huge I can't see why a well-run spring league wouldn't work.
