I was 2/4 last week, with my AFC SB Finalist prediction (the Bengals) losing.

- The Colts over the Ravens, due to Peyton Manning having a great game.

- The Cowboys over the Vikings, due to Brett Favre making a couple of mistakes.

- The Chargers over the Jets, due to Merriman having time to heal plus Phillip Rivers and co.

- The Saints over the Cardinals, due to having something to prove. Although I won't be shocked if the Cards win. And I'll go so far to say whoever wins this game will likely win the Super Bowl.

I was 2/4 in my pool last week, (Cin, Dal, Bal, GB)

This week I think:

Saints over Cardinals
Ravens over Indy
Vikings over Cowboys
Chargers over Jets

I'll make picks for today with the cowboys/Vikings game just starting here - i'll say Romo and the boys pull of the slight upset

In the afternoon game, should be close for a while, but the Chargers will take over and win

I haven't seen this many people jump on the Chargers bandwagon since Marty led them to a 14-2 record...and then they went and lost their first playoff game. I have a very bad feeling about this and won't be shocked in the least if history repeats itself and the Chargers roll over.

Same reason I'm picking the Jets.

San Diego makes too big a deal about the playoffs. The town peaks when a team makes it. It adversely affects players. SD will not advance, even though I want them to.

If the New York Jets beat the San Diego Chargers, I will eat my computer, then throw it up and eat it again. It's not happening. Not this year.

I will not be eating my computer.

Also, I am glad I do not bet money on NFL games, because I was pretty damn sure San Diego would win this game easily.

AND Parcell's new pet project. I bet Al Davis is fuming he can't get the kind of media coverage the AFC East might just be taking up. Oh, wait, I'm a Jets fan.
