Real hard to call the Spurs over the Suns an upset. I suppose it'd be considered as such in terms of seeding, but I'd almost consider the Spurs the favorite right now.

Celtics in 7
Hawks in 7
Lakers in 5
Suns in 6

Cavs / Celtics: Cavs in 7

Magic / Hawks: Magic in 6

Lakers / Jazz: Lakers in 7

Spurs / Suns: Spurs in 6

The Celtics are aging but they did have the best road record in the league and have picked it up a notch in the post-season. The Magic are going to have to rely on 2 time Defensive Player of the Year to be the "bully" again versus Atlanta.

The Jazz are still in tune despite losing by only 5 today but they should give the Lakers a run for their money. The Suns are the #3 seed but have bad luck against the Spurs in the post-season; the Spurs are the 7th seed but I don't think that matters as they have played like the 4-time champions that the y are. Suns sizzle but later fizzle against a very tough 7th seed.

The Celtics have totally outplayed the Cavs for one and a half games now ... even if Cleveland winds up advancing to the next round, that has to be disconcerting for their fanbase.

Have a feeling the weakness the Celtics have had all season will be their ultimate downfall: Lack of Killer Instinct. Even in wins they've been uncomfortable playing with large leads. Best hope for the C's though is that the whistles go in their favor at home, as they've had to battle severe 1st half foul trouble in the first 2 games in Cleveland.

Almost as shocking as the Capitals losing already.

The Cavs really should have looked harder in the offseason for another piece to the puzzle than Shaq.

Celtics have the experience yet everyone is acting like they only won 35 games this year when they won 50, they're gonna be a tough out for Cleveland if the Cavs even advance.

Still makes me laugh that Lebron's weakest playoff team made it to the finals and he hasn't led them back since.

Look through the years: When a team gets absolutely humiliated in Game 1 of a series, they generally do well in game 2. Mother's Day Massacre, Memorial Day Massacre, and the night the Celtics needed Acie Earl to score to lose by less than 50 come to mind immediately, and the losing team won Game 2 in each of those series.

After one game? Please. I could see if this was a 1-1 series and game 3, but Atlanta is the most bipolar team in the league for years now. They got destroyed tonight, but I wouldn't call the series over JUST yet. Maybe if they lose Game 2 though. Then I could see a sweep.

I choose to ignore the atrocity that was Game 1. Nowhere to go but up, especially once we're back at home.

In the East, it seems Orlando wants to return to the Finals more than anyone else (perhaps a close second by Boston). I will agree with Alessandro that the Celtics have outplayed the Cavs for the most part in the 2 games and are playing better than their regular season record of "only" 50 games.

The Lakers hold a pretty comfortable 2-0 lead over Utah but the next couple games are now in Salt Lake City and we'll see if Utah can pull off a Thunder and tie it up at home.

Of all the teams still in the playoffs, I do not understand the Hawks. One day they will get blown-out but the next day, they will play with all the heart in the world and make it a series again. I would not give up on the Hawks yet but if they are to even try to make a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals, they cannot decide which days they think they should show up and which days they cannot....especially against a dangerous Orlando Magic which I think right now is better than the Cavs.

As for the other series, the Suns and Spurs looks to be a competitive series after a tight game 1 won by Phoenix. The Cavs and Celtics matchup is a competitive series but the way the Celtics are playing, it seems they want it more which may carry them if Cleveland decides to let that attitude walk over them. Still, it is relatively early to jump on any bandwagon yet in any series so far in the semi's and see what adjustments will be made by certain teams (unless LA jumps out with a 3-0 lead then historically speaking, it would be over or safe to say it would be).

Well, Phoenix has a surprising 3-0 series lead over San Antonio which surprises me because even though the Spurs are a 7th seed, they have played better than their seeding.....until now.

It seem every time that San Antonio is running up the hill with some momentum, Phoenix sends something barreling down in the Spurs' path and brings them back down.

For the first game of the series, Cleveland took control of an entire game instead of Boston the first game and a half taking control of Cleveland. Atlanta played better against the Magic in game 2 so don't be surprised to see Boston come at Cleveland again in championship form.

Orlando right now may be the best overall team not just in terms of their record right now in the post-season, but in terms of how they are playing as they are playing like a team instead of a team with good individual players. I caught the last quarter of game 2 and Orlando consistently looks for someone open before one man can dominate the scoring. And when 4 players on Orlando have at least 20 points, that shows not just good scoring and talent, but good teamwork to go with their scoring and talent. Orlando may be the team to beat right now in the East.

The officiating was completely one-sided at the start of the first quarter, and the Celtics - rather than fighting through the adversity - decided as a team to simply give up and lie down for Cleveland.

Give the Cavs credit, the refs might have given them a nudge in the right direction, but Lebron and his mates were playing at the highest intensity level and simply overpowered Boston with their energy ... We'll see how the respond tomorrow afternoon.

Now it is pretty much over for 3 out of the 4 series thus far as every series (except Cavs and Celtics) have jumped out to a 3-0 series lead.

I was able to catch the last minute of the Jazz and Lakers game and it was exciting. Jazz had a chance to win it even on the D-Will miss but Ronnie Brewer missed the tip-in which would have won the game. Despite a now 3-0 lead in the series for the Lakers, the Jazz have been very competitive (and the series for that matter) but it doesn't seem that way on the outside with the Lakers holding a commanding 3-0 series lead.

The least competitive series would have to be Orlando and Atlanta as it seems that Atlanta came to play in only a combined 3 quarters and that was the first 3 quarters of game 2; not to take anything away from Orlando though because now they have won 13 straight (6 straight at the end of the season and now 7 straight in the postseason). Orlando constantly passes the ball for the open man which gets their team into a constant rhythm making it very difficult for any team to beat them.

What's sad is I figured this would be one of the more competitive playoffs in years, especially in the west, yet there's only been one game 7 so far and that was in a series where it seemed every game was won by the 3rd quarter.
