Anybody remember when Justice Potter Stewart said in an obscenity case "[I'll] know it when I see it"? Had he been alive, I think he would have found a basketball-based definition for that term.
It is my sincere hope that the 24-point collapse haunts every Laker in their sleep until opening day next season, because despite that humiliation, the Lakers know within, that even after that near-40 point domination, it should have been 3-3. You brought it on yourselves Lakers.
And perhaps a haunting of that sort just might motivate them to, say, not allow shooters like Ray Allen (most egregious example I saw yesterday) to stand there for two seconds with an open three-point look. And the fact that once they saw him, no one actually made the gesture of running towards the guy, that too, was obscene.
In any case though, it was nice to see that someone was learning something over this series. Celtics came close to seeing game two slip away, and decided to upkeep the crippling this time. Well played.
Very well done Celtics.

Yes what an endearing group of people Boston sports fans are.
The fact that these douchebag idiot bandwagoners were rewarded yet again is an injustice.
Well, sir. When you have no choice but to face the superiority of the TEAM, why not turn that bitterness towards the FANS. Although those fans in the video are really quite shitheads. But they're an asshole minority that the millions of other Boston fans frown on and are forced to tolerate.
I mean, I see you're from Colorado. Would be fair if someone, not I of course, said that all the kids in your state are a bunch of redneck, gun-packin' school shooters who murder their friends and teachers? Hey, we all saw Bowling for Columbine. Aren't all the kids there like that? No.
Sorry if that's out of line. Point is, just don't paint an entire community or population by the actions of the most rotten apples in the barrel. Fuck those asshole rioters who vandalized that street (the street where my mother works, by the way, so I take extra umbrage.) But Boston fans, for all their faults, aren't ALL like that.
Boston fans are hardly the only fans which cause scenes and riots. Why, some of my fellow Habs fans went out for a night on the town for some riots....after we won our FIRST ROUND match up. At least the Celts won the championship.
Besides, John has some very good points in his post. You can't pant ALL Boston fans in that light, it's only a select few. If there were riots in Denver if the Nuggets won, somehow I doubt that you (Broncolanche) would be saying the same things.
Yes, I finally have updated the Troll Moment of the Week! This week is brought to you by ;
"STONEBOY!" , who brought us the following such pieces of wisdom as:
STONEBOY!: "THIS GOES MESSAGE GOES OUT TO ALL CANADIANS ESPECIALLY MONTREAL WHEREVER THE F#CK THAT IS".
Kidbrooklyn: "Please god tell me that you're making fun of the douche who started this thread...
Wait, no he isn't. He's serious. I hadn't read his previous brilliance before. I apologize" (in reference to a reply by James1978).
Portland's Zach Randolph allegedly lied about a shooting his brother (allegedly) committed, and might be charged for attempting to mislead the police. I'll ask the question that I'm sure everyone following the NBA has asked on several occasions:
