I apologize if this has been brought up already, I don't believe it has. As I was taking care of my usual business today, a thought came to me from nowhere.
With Sable's recent departure from the WWE, does this mean she can still win the fan-voted Babe of the Year Contest?
Now, I know as of late, all of the Diva business has made a lot of fans mad, and this is kind of a weird topic, but I found it kind of interesting. I just checked the site out and she is still listed in the brackets. In fact, she is slated against Stacy in the 2nd Round of the tournament.
So, I guess the question is...will the WWE edit the tournament OR will this be one of those oh so classic "Does the WWE listen to the fans" deals, if the fans, for the sake of experiment, voted Sable all the way to the Finals and the win?
Why would it be rigged? Trish in the past couple of years is trying to get away from the model stigma and into a diva/wrestler. She still uses her looks no doubt, but like she said in a recent interview "There's a reason I wrestle in pants people" as she tries to get her character/ wrestling over... Why would they rig it to have Trish defeat girls like Stacy (who I like) and PB Bunny Torrie, lets face in the past couple of years bring little to the table except their beauty for photoshoots.
I'm personally going for Trish or Victoria as I think they they are the sexiest girls who actually do stuff. Unfortunately if they both win the first round there meeting in the second round already, damn brackets... On the other side I'll cheer for Lillian, wait Lillian has already been eliminated by Dawn Marie? Damn rigged piece of CRAP!
smark/net attack wienerville advisory is raised to ORANGE alert - High (Benoit lost the title to some punk kid named Orton, lets look at the positive at least it's a heel not named HHH who has the title, which allows two fresh faces battling for the World title.. whaat? excuse me? what happened on Raw! well scratch that... Over to Smackdown we wave at Justin Bradshaws title reign, I think I'm getting sea sick)- 8/22
Has Smackdown begun broadcasting in more markets since that time? I don't know when St. Louis got it, but it has only been about a year, I think. I don't know if any other markets or enough markets to make a significant change have been added, though.
