Man, Jon Rudnitsky doesn't even make the post title? You know a guy has an anonymous season when...
Obama was Pharoah's meat-and-potatoes role, so with the president's team almost up and the new candidates dominating the news, it's no surprise Jay was let go. SNL will be wall-to-wall with Clinton and Trump stuff this fall.
Killam is kind of a surprise, but from the sounds of it, he simply had too many outside projects on the go. That's okay for a cast member if Lorne has a hand in them (i.e. Portlandia) but I guess it didn't fly here.
George Michael weighed his options. Maeby had chastised him for not taking risks, and what would be a bigger risk than perpetuating a lie about software just to ignite the passions of a woman? Of course it would be a lie, and since Maeby wouldn't know it was a lie, he wouldn't appear to be taking a risk. Perhaps the bigger risk was to tell his father he was lying, that he came up with it because he wanted his father to leave so he could enjoy what remained of his senior year. After all, he wondered, wouldn't that be the course of action taken by an overtly sexual man, a man who owns a pair of matador pants? He had not responded now for 41 seconds according to his unfailing internal clock, and it was time to come clean.
The comedian had also come under fire after joining the show when several tweets containing jokes about gang bangs and the word “c—” were found on his personal Twitter account, which has since been deleted. He also posted a Vine video in which he joked about being shot by Latinos.
"SNL” creator Lorne Michaels is expected to announce further cast changes before the launch of the new season.

I remember Jim Breuer saying in an interview once that he did one of those Mtv SpringBreak Weekends without getting permission from Lorne Michaels and that was the reason he wasn't asked back for the next season.
TK Didn't seem to be on the show much this past season, maybe they're just cutting their losses. JP was funny when he did impressions, but not much else (With the exception of "Attention faculty and students.......")
Rudnisky? He had the one dirty dancing bit on Weekend Update, other than that I don't remember him being on once.
