Poor Bob & Dave. This looks like the beginning of a trend for ISPs and websites. There were ways around pop-ups before, but this is really bringing it to the masses.

Well, it isn't as though it's much of an issue for them anymore - I've used Pop-Up Stopper for about a year now, and I've been able to access their site while it's running. It didn't used to be that way, so I guess they realized no one gave a good goddamn about their 'cries for help,' and they stopped trying to scam people THAT way. Of course, they still scam, but at least that particular one has died down a tad.

He's right about us being like the National Enquirer. Scherer will run any 'inside' story he gets and the rest of the net will devour it, despite the fact that the story can be riddled in bias or just plain untrue.
