Dave Schererís contract with 1Wrestling.com is expiring and we were unable to reach an agreement on terms for a new contract. Dave Scherer will be leaving 1Wrestling at the end of this month and will be launching his own website to be located at: www.pwinsider.com Buck Woodward, Jess McGrath, and Mike Johnson will also be leaving 1Wrestling.com.

Georgiann Makropoulos will be staying with 1Wrestling.com and will continue with her regular updates. Brian Fritz, co-host of the popular Between The Ropes wrestling radio show, will be increasing his involvement and will focus primarily on audio features for 1Wrestling.com Premium. Interviews with Shawn Michaels, Tully Blanchard, and others will be available later this week for Premium members. David Webber will be joining the 1Wrestling.com staff and will be responsible for much of the day to day news updates and reviews that will appear on the site.
Premium members will see enhancements that will be announced over the next few days, including the relaunch of 1Wrestling Radio with new hosts. A special discount program for www.1WrestlingShop.com will also offer Premium members a 5% discount on all purchases made using a special code. Details about that special offer, as well as other enhancements, will be announced soon.
1Wrestling.com, since it's launch in 1997, has been the source for news and information about the world of professional wrestling. While the names of some of the people involved will be changing, 1Wrestling.com will continue to meet -- and exceed -- the standards the site has set for wrestling coverage online.
I wonder what a webmaster of a pro-wrestling website nets you per year? Is it 6 figure income? If it is, that amazes me to no end that you can earn a good career talking about pro-wrestling on the internet.
Ryder was also getting a paycheck from WCW & TNA. Plus, he owns a travel agency. I doubt Bob was hurting for cash.
I don't know about Styles & Scherer, though. I assume Joey has had some other way to make money since his days in ECW.

I also would have to agree that Hulkamania was not a failure. This is what happened as I remember it, sorry if I miss some parts. Timeline: Hogan comes back as part of the nWo for a short period of time, wrestles Rock and gets some good crowd response.
