Nope. Not me. I do not need to see finisher/kick out for 25 minutes.

I know UT can't wrestle like he used to, but I would much rather see a speed guy like Rey fly all over the ring and try to gut out a win that HHH and UT Part III.

Thinking more about it, I see them pushing Rock/Cena up and leaving Cena open for UT at Wrestlemania. The Rock/Cena at Wrestlemania seems more and more like a red herring.

Life is hilariously cruel.

With Cena booked for Rock, I want CM Punk vs. Taker.

Fuck it, get Foley. Give him a win against HHH or just have him play mind games with Taker. Make him think its HHH or HBK or Rock or Kane or Austin or Cena. Taker destroys everyone to the point, the roster no longer gets his back or just turns on him. Then Foley pops out with a falming 2x4 during a match and hits him with it. Instant feud. HHH/Taker was a good match on a bad card, there is no need for a sequel or in reality part III. We are also under the impression, Taker can go this time next year which I do have doubts about.

HHH's career, playing off the momentum of this year's match and the vulnerability shown by Undertaker, is a much bigger deal than anyone who isn't Cena. Best get used to it.

The streak has grown to be about more than just Tombstoning a list of guys, it's now an intertwining story that encapsulates the ends of the careers of three of the ten biggest stars in WWE history.

I think that was a retort to your "Why does a part time wrestler get such a special treatment" question and answer. As in, "It's not just the Undertaker who gets that special treatment."

I wouldn't really mind another HHH match but I definitely like the idea of Myterio the best. It is a little ridiculous that the Undertaker took such a punishment and kept coming back. Why not turn the table and actually let Taker be the one doing the damage but little Mysterio keeps coming back. Just because he won't win in the end won't make the underdog story any worse. It worked in the UT/Hardy Ladder Match and I think Rey is MUCH better than Jeff. Also Rey would do the most work in the match, it'd be a pretty easy match for Taker.

I like the ideas of Jericho, Punk and Barrett as well but I don't think the WWE would give any of them such a high profile match. Maybe Barrett a year from now but who knows.

If they're dead set on doing HHH again, they should go ahead and do a three-way or handicap match with Shawn Michaels. Then it's got the last three years of WrestleMania history behind it, as well as a being a challenge that makes it seem like the Undertaker can't possibly win. If you do the three-way, then you've got the added stipulation that the Undertaker can lose without being pinned, which adds an element of doubt, although I think that's too cheap to even contemplate.

Why is there such outrage about Taker kicking out of the Tombstone? Over the course of two WM matches, Shawn Michaels kicked out of *three* Tombstones, and there was no such reaction. I was one of the few who hated that Shawn did it at WM25. Now, when HHH does it to Taker, a guy who (a) is smaller than Taker and (b) has little to no experience executing the move, it's a crime?

This might just be some idle talk to set up Tough Enough, but....

http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/blogs/2011/tv-news/wwes-stone-cold-steve-austin-on-tough-enough-wrestlemania/

If Austin is really capable of wrestling for 'two more years' if he had to, then he surely would be able to handle one more match. And who would possibly be better for the landmark 20th match of the Streak than the first- or second-biggest star in WWE history?

Well, if they're setting up things a year in advance I could see Austin vs Miz, which would then make;

Cena vs Rock
Triple H vs The Undertaker
Austin vs Miz

Now, THIS I would not have a problem with because you could have HHH and HBK both preventing each other from getting the pin and being the guy to end the streak. It could be a longer match as there would be plenty of breather time for each wrestler and add in the stipulation that if UT loses, HHH must retire. That would be OK in my book.

How about leaving it at 19-0...unless Taker can come back at 100%.

He hasn't been at 100% for somewhere between 4 and 14 years. I would just leave him off TV until February though. At this point, nothing he does between Wrestlemanias really matters and he only gets more hurt anyway. He has more value doing the single streak match than he does doing whatever on Smackdown in the middle of the year.

Austin vs. Miz would be alright. That new WWE All-Stars game has a mode that has "dream matches" and most of them are awful but the one good idea that came from it is Steve Austin vs. CM Punk. I'd love to see Straight Edge vs. Steveweisers.

Then again, that would be the second year in a row without Orton in the main event picture. Austin vs. Orton?

At this point, a solid direction might be to have him come out in a month or two and announce his retirement, with the intention being that you pick out a potential opponent or two who then spend much of the year taunting him and trying to get him to unretire either because they think they can beat a broken down Undertaker, or to mirror the initial Bret/Austin feud, because they actually believe he won't come back and they can make a name for themselves without the consequence of having to actually face him. Either way could make for a strong build depending on what kind of person you want for #20.

That's just begging for the return of Chris Jericho.

I'm pretty sure he was suggesting that the only person who should be as bitter as UnsUwe on this matter is Shawn Michaels.

According to the WWE Corporate News Releases (corporate.wwe.com), Taker and HHH were fined for chairshots to the head, but the policy also includes suspensions. Suspending both guys (from matches, if not TV) would be one way to shelve them until their next angles.
