Foley and Undertaker had great matches in the 90's lets leave the memories alone. Foley's knees are shot to hell and he can barely walk. TNA made the mistake of throwing Foley in the ring with Sting because they had a very memorable feud in the early 90's and the match was pretty damn bad. Undertaker-Foley wouldn't be as bad but I just can't see it being any good or even half way decent. Foley gave what he had left in his last WM match with Edge over five years ago.

| #25 Posted on 4.4.11 1656.46 | They're going to Miami next year? A Cena/Rock match is going to pull in more business* than anything they could do with Taker. I've vaguely been hearing that Rock was happy to amp up his physical involvement in this year's angle.. so I have to believe Vince would pull out quite a few stops to try and get that signed.
And if Cena's out of the way, they surely set up a Taker/HHH rematch next year. Taker kicked out of three pedigrees, Trips kicked out of any finisher the Deadman threw at him - to end with what could be argued as a fluky submission finish. H was all set to end it once and for all with Sledgie, but it just barely slid off his fingertips in the end. Storyline-wise, that's got to grate on his mind all year long, until it's time to set up next year's card.
Undertaker. HHH. Streak vs Career. Hell in a Cell.
* (edit: pull in business in the casual buy, increased ratings sense - of course they should be able to sell out any venue regardless of Rock's involvement.)

| #28 Posted on 4.4.11 1721.08 | Instant Rating: 2.77 | I'm going to go with a HHH rematch. It has the whole echo of HBK going for it. Plus I think that was the reason they had HHH walk off and UT have to be stretchered out.
HHH can let this eat away at him for a year, say he was this first man to make the Dead Man be carried out of a ring, and put his career on the line to get the match.
Plus I also think HHH would like to have a big Mania match with less ring rust.
I don't see anyone of the younger guys getting the spot unless they are gonna try and build to 25, and I just don't see that happening.
Other names:
Sting - Won't happen. If he didn't do it this year, he will never go WWE.
Foley - He MIGHT could work a decent match if he dropped about 100 lbs to take the stress of his knees, but as Gorilla would say, "Highly unlikely".
Brock - Seems to be happy in MMA, so unless he just gets destroyed by Junior, I don't see him leaving.
Kane - Just doesn't seem like a big enough deal, but he does have history. But I can't see anyway that they could make him a credible threat to the streak. | JayJayDean

Apparently WWE gave Rey carte blanche to pick his Wrestlemania storyline this year out of gratitude for wrestling through so many injuries. Rey (in a very cool move) chose to elevate Cody, but I would've likcd to have seen Rey face Taker in a great David vs. Goliath setup. Except, of course, Goliath would win.
Of course, if Cena suffers a major injury next fall, then WM28's main event will be switched to Rock vs. Undertaker.

After the backstage Austin/HHH bit, it seemed all but guaranteed that they were trying to plant the seed.
After they DID book a match for WM28 in Rock/Cena, I feel this whole discussion is over and it's definitely UT/HHH at WM28 (unless somebody's limb falls off over the next 363).
(Also, somehow, UT/HHH at WM17 will STILL never have happened.)

Yeah I'm bitter. Why wouldn't I be? I mean, The Streak was fun while Taker wrestled "normal" matches, but now they come up with bullshit like this that he can't be beaten at Wrestlemania NO MATTER WHAT! Come on, kicking out of THREE PEDIGREES, a Tombstone and multiple chairshots? Are you kidding me? Why does a part time wrestler get such a special treatment? | #39 Posted on 5.4.11 0045.01 | Not HHH. Not again. No one wants to see this again. And not HBK. So with them out and Cena/Roc out, I am guessing we are looking at the WWE having to build up someone as a credible threat. So, the next big wrestler who goes on a tear will get the shot to be #20.
Rey would be nice, a returning Jericho would be cool with me, but right now, it is more likely someone we do not know yet.
Life is hilariously cruel.
