Okay, it's a little late but it was a good show this week and I wanted to post it up... Ha my title is a little play on J-e-t-s Jets Jets Jets. Oh well here it goes LoL
-The Worm returns- Scotty talks about how he felt something really wrong on April 2002 when he couldn't lift his arm after a match. Had to get neck surgery which took him out of action for a year and a half... At the time it was the worst time professionally but the best time as a father and for his personal life. Enjoys going to Disneyland and Disney world with his family(took a photo with what looks like a giant Mr. Hanky LoL).
-Lets Look back at Survivor Series- They talk about debuts of Undertaker, The Rock and Kurt Angle all in past Survivor Series. Chatted about the Elimination Chamber. Silly car stuff with Austin getting run over and the ridiculous HHH getting dropped in his car via forklift... Oh yeah they also talked about you know what to meet their once a month quota of this story.
-OTR: Bischoff- Lance Storm is hosting and this one was funny as hell. Bischoff takes credit on creating the Monday Night wars. When Did NWO stand for Not working out, Bisch says about a couple of years after it debut, but they did it too much. Lance says "Too much of a good thing" Bisch says yeah, like too many Canadians. Which Lance answers "You can never have too many Canadians, Eric you should know better"(Funny)... Talked about & showed Eric's brutal WWF audition announcing tape. Another fantastic part was Lance asks Eric about his DeadCow & blue jeans & if he needs a Queer Eye makeover would help him, Eric asks if he thinks it would help. Lance said it worked for him (while HE'S wearing a boring t-shirt and bluejeans), Eric asks "It has?" While Lance replies, "I would like to think so". What's so funny is Lance plays it so straight we(along with the interviewee) can't tell if he's being sarcastic or not
-Rockers vs. Orient Express- A good 6-minute segment. It's really amazing how moves the would be considered simple spots now was considered amazing highspots then. Nice moonsault backflip from the corner by Shawn on one to the Express members. Fun match.
-LILS LILS LILS - Yes! a Lillian segment. She's at Giants Stadium in New Jersey. Doing the anthem for the New York Jets home game(that would get anyone confused LOL). She wore a cut off Jets jersey with hip hugging bluejeans(ummm). Hey Mic Foley makes a cameo. Lillian asks if he can shut of the water works cause it's raining. Wet Lil... Lillian acts silly running around the field and playfully saying if she should distract the opposition(oh please do). She sings beautifully and that's Lillian's day in Giants stadium. Hey I get very little Lillian fix so damn right I enjoyed it
-Unscripted Stone Cold- A look at Stone Cold on his off time. Around the house, having to get dressed up for the photoshoot, which Austin wasn't crazy about LoL. Photos of him shaving his head and hunting... I actually like the concept of the book. I like Confidential a lot because I enjoy seeing this guys and girls outside the arena/ wrestling environment.
Very good Confidential this week. The Outside the ropes with Lance is awesome. It's so much Lance's delivery, Bischoff (and Al Snow last month) look at him like "Are you for real" like he's a real square is enough to give that segment a thumbs up. The fun questions and answers was just gravy. All segments (maybe with the exception of the Survivor Series review) was good.
Lance seems like a pretty nice guy....His website is cool(he cracks jokes about Nathan Jones and other bad workers often). Also the posters on his site gave themselves a pretty cool name(stormtroopers), and Lance claims to be pushing it for creative/merchandise.
Unsricpted looks interesting, I wanna see Stone Cold in a tux:).
"dubya never talks while cheney is drinking water...check that shit out"
Alot could be said about the above, but you're comparing two different things. You're looking at what WCW did with hot WWF acts during the middle of the wrestling war, and what Vince did with dead or life supported WCW acts after WCW went under.
