If you want to see the film Locke and Jacke watched, you can see it here (thehansofoundation.org).

An odd ending. I'm not quite buying Jack's surrender to what I also see as a Skinner experiment.

I LOVE the music in that thing. The out of tune horns or whatever they are are so creepy and cheesy at the same time.

I taped the episode and watched that part twice again, and I didn't notice this until viewing it just now (after having it pointed out for me, of course), but Dr. Candle doesn't move his left arm. Speculation is that its prosthetic, but what could that mean?

The shot of Alvar Hanso standing in the building is creepy!

Thanks for posting the link!

Edit: can't spell prosthetic

The new specualtion is that the founders of the project (the de Groots from U of Michigan) are the lead man and lone woman from the boat crew that kidnaps Walt.

Does anyone else think Hanso looks like Cancer Man?

Thanks for the link - that music is just too much

I still can't help but think that Alvar Hanso looks more like Leslie Nielsen than Locke's kidney stealing dad

I concur (having said as much in the other thread...)

Of course, this is probably one of those cases where the more you stare at the picture, the more your mind starts to make them look alike. But I'm thinking the females look the most alike.

Well, even if the two couples ARE supposed to the same characters, that doesn't mean the actors that play them have to look exactly alike. I think they look similar enough that the man and woman on the boat couple feasibly be older versions of the man and woman in the video.

Not much to say this week except...one of the best weeks ever seen, and I thought it was going to be a train wreck. 7 to 1 (best to worst, quick format [not much time]) Katharine, Chris, Taylor, Paris, Elliott, Ace (that hair had to go)
