Man, was that movie cheesy or what? There was some of kind of edit in there...right when the dude was talking about "things that could go wrong," there was a skip.
I was *dying* for Locke to press the button after entering 32. Damn you Jack.
So, Ana Lucia's friends are simply other (lowercase "o") survivors from the flight?
I wonder how far Desmond will get before he realizes that the world didn't end and either the button does nothing or they got the computer working. Surely out of curiousity, he'll drift back. Where else is he going to go?
Dig the Katey Segal appearance! Everytime I see/hear her, I am in utter shock that she was Peg Bundy.
Jin better not be able to speak English. I'll excuse Sun for keeping it secret from him, but given that they are in such perilous conditions, there's no reason to keep something like that under wraps. My guess is its a hallucination for someone (Sun?), much like Walt appearing to Shannon.
I'm pissed that I knew enough to know that Ana Lucia was with the "others", so that her *shocking* turn wasn't so shocking. I'd still like to know how Jin wound up running from them at exactly the same time as Michael and Sawyer stumble aground. He couldn't be in on it with them, could he?
Why did everyone head back to the beach? Just because the Others didn't get them that night doesn't mean they aren't still coming for them, right? Or did everyone buy Charlie's there-are-no-Others logic? I'm surprised Sayid would let that fly. This is why Jack shouldn't have gone into the hatch.
So now we have an idea as to why things are happening like they are? At least this explains the polar bears. The stuff about parapsychology is most intriguing. I still look forward to understanding the origin of the numbers, assuming there is one.

The whole island, or at least the hatch, is a giant Skinner Box. (en.wikipedia.org) Brilliant!
I was also SWERVED~! by the Ana Lucia turn. Shouldn't have been, considering the actress. Does she ALWAYS sneer in real life 100% of the time like she does on camera?
What do you guys think about the orientation video?
Dharma Initiative: dharma = protection, right? Project founded by two University of Michigan professors: Adam & Eve from the caves? Copyright 1988: Hmm, 16 to 17 years ago. That's about when Rousseau landed on the island. Also, see the theory first posted here by Tomboy for other significance of 16 years.
I think the storyline in the hatch is getting kind of weird now with the sudden appearance of all this technology on the island, but I'm really digging the storyline on the other side of the island. It should be interesting to see how all the other survivors react to the hatch though.

I've seen that the copyright on the movie was 1980.
I prefer the theory that the grad students running the experiments are now Bluebeard and the lady on the boat. Besides, didn't someone (Jack? Locke?) date Adam and Eve as having been there for about 50 years based on the state of their clothing? Still, that's an interesting idea.
The Mirror Theory you reference is a load of bunk. A fun load of bunk, but bunk nonetheless.

Until we learn why the plane crashed there, i don't think the connection is valid.
Number 6 resigned, presumably with a head full of secrets and 'someone' wants to know why. So, they kidnapped him.
Well, I tossed my " it wasn't in the bible" here and there. Clearly, neither movie was exactly going for that "Jesus movie" vibe (The Jesus movie script was word for work from one of the Gospels).
