| #3 Posted on 23.7.03 1016.51 | Sounds like a good show on paper. I'm still not sold on Sable and Stephanie, and I'm not given much a reason to care about the match either. I'm actually on the fence on whether I'll check out Vengeance or not. Most likely I'll pass and have one of my buds (who just happens to be a computer repair guy) tape it for me. As okay as it sounds, it's not worth nearly 40 bucks, especially 40 of MY bucks. I'm far more interested in what happens to Kane.. But like I said, the show this weeks sounds good, especially with Cena and Guererro.
How the hell does Mr. Ass and Doink get matches on PPV but not Mattitude or Spanky or even ULTIMO!?!?!?!??!?!?!

As far as Doink getting a slot over Spanky. I have a feeling they might have Spanky actually dress up as Doink. Either way, OMEGA is a prophet.

Kanyon won with a version of the downward spiral
LOL, Kanyon was using the Flatliner before Edge.
On the whole, looks like a good show, but I could do w/out all the Steph/Sable crap.
As for the requisite bitching: --Gunn over Knoble *again*? What a waste. Hopefully Knoble can pick up the win at Vengeance, but I'm not holding my breath. --APA over FBI - they spent a good couple months building up the FBI as a credible stable, only to piss it away jobbing them out to Marky-Mark, and now the APA. --what the fuck is Doink doing on the PPV? Inexcusable when Matt Hardy and/or Rhyno and/or Spanky and/or others aren't going to be on the show.
The Stephanie/Sable stuff is just really awful. I have yet to see any good come from it nor have I seen any purpose behind it
Purpose? Steph's ego.

Except that Spanky and Rhyno have both recieved invites to the APA Bar-Room Brawl, the exact same event that Doink is supposedly going to participate in.
"Namely, Trish can work."
Not back then she couldn't. That was eight months before she became a regular wrestler, a good year before became any kind of decent worker.

Eddie-Rhyno sounds good. According to various reports, Eddie got the loudest pop of the night.
Main event sounds good.
But most importantly, they mentioned the attack on Linda.
I wonder if the Velocity matches will air this week, since it's on Sunday

Hey, you're right! I still don't see the point of having Doink in it, however. Take out Doink, Brother Love, and Lombardi, and replace them w/ any combination of Funaki, The Bashams, or Shannon Moore.

Yes, we understand that, but that was WAY before the brand extension, WAY before Trish became a real wrestler (my hat off to you Trish), and WAY before we had a legitimate women's division with legitimate female wrestlers on one brand. On Smackdown (with all due respect to Sable, I like her promo skills for some reason), it's all wannabes, except Nidia and including Steph.
A lot has changed in those two and a half years, especially our tastes towards non wrestlers trying to be something they obviously aren't. Oh, and the angle behind that match two years ago just happened to have some sort of significance (at least to Trish's career), and it was FAR more compelling than two women fighting because one hit the other with a clipboard. Did I forget to mention that Steph sounds like a mule these days?

| #19 Posted on 23.7.03 2057.50 | Yeah, who the f*** wants to see Billy Gunn vs. Jamie Noble at Vengeance? ... that's about as appealing to me as a sharp stick to the eye ...
The f***ing U.S. title match should have been a fatal 4-way match (elimination or not) ...
Here's what I think Vengeance should be:
1.) Angle vs. Lesnar vs. Show (WWE Championship) -- I think the buildup to this has been good. 2.) Benoit vs. Guerrero vs. Hardy vs. Gunn (U.S. Title Finals) -- Could have been a helluva a match and could have made for a good TV match of Benoit & Gunn vs. Guerrero & Hardy 3.) Vince & Sable vs. Stephanie & Zack -- Could have saved us the trouble and boredom by combing the 2 Vengeance matches. 4.) Jamie Noble vs. Spanky -- Nidia think that Spanky is a cute little boy and this infuriates Noble. 5.) Haas & Benjamin vs. Mysterio & Kidman -- Good match; leave as is ... sets Kidman turn. 6.) Undertaker vs. Cena -- decent job of booking ... great Cena promos. 7.) APA vs. FBI -- Hey, they've bulit the FBI up over the past few months, only to be jobbed out ... at least give them a PPV match.

| #20 Posted on 23.7.03 2302.28 | Instant Rating: 6.44 | This Eddie fascination sure is strange. Come on people, Eddie was not cheered much during his recent face stage. IMO, this love for Guerrero is more to due because Eddie is playing a cool heel.
And gee, there once was another guy who acted like a cool heel. Does the name Kevin Nash circa WCW ring a bell? Back then, many were clamoring for Nash to stop trying to get cheers. But now that Eddie is basically doing the same thing, suddenly he MUST BE TURNED FACE AGAIN! NOW!
Regardless of two recent crowds, the fans by and large will stop popping for Eddie if he is quickly turned back face. And I hope that Eddie will be written or at least act like more of a heel so that he doesn't overshadow his face opponents (namely Benoit).
Molly, Stacy and Daffney all in WWE? I suddenly lost all my will to complain about anything regarding the WWE. Hope I don't lose my street cred for this.
