Why the hell would Edmonton want Jussi Markkanen, though? Unless they're planning on dumping Tommy Salo after this year and going with Ty Conklin? | canucklover

It wasn't hard to outplay Dunham this year - Jussi looks to have a good future......good riddance Nedved - I have never liked you

| #6 Posted on 4.3.04 0409.41 | Instant Rating: 6.23 | I was kind of digging Markkanen at times this year, so I'm partly sorry to see him go. I hope this means that Jason LaBarbara is ready for the big club. And is there any word on when/if Dan Blackburn will be back?
At any rate, the Rangers have cleared the space for them to do what they should have been doing in past seasons--give the young players the time to show what they can do. For season after season their young players have either been traded away or left languishing, benched or sent down the moment they hit a slump. If they can show a little patience and stay with the young guys for a while, maybe we'll see things looking better at MSG. | beefncheddar
