I'm having a hard time picturing this.

Maybe with enough bandanas and spray tan he could pull this off, brother.

But then there's the voice, the 24 inch pythons, the mustache-- there's so many things that made Hulk Hulk.

I know he's established Hollywood now, but it does seem a little weird to have an Australian portray someone who was quintessentially 1980's America?

British Christian Bale played both Bruce Wayne and Dick Cheney who are both quintessential America in their own ways. Not saying that Hemsworth is on Bale's level but plenty of foreigners have played iconic Americans. That's just the most recent example off the top of my head.

It could be that I'm just sensitive to the accent for obvious reasons. I always hear the 'twang' in Hemsworth's speech.

How did you guys go with him as Thor and in Ghostbusters? Was his voice passably TV American to you?

* Unrelated - but I watched a fun doco about American accents in the context of how US State lines came about. One of the things they brought up was the evolution of the "TV" accent and how there is no geographic locale that natively has it. Yet it is demonstrably "American".

Well Thor's not American but that's my go-to-role whenever I think of Hemsworth. Didn't see Ghostbusters.

Everyone's gotta "WHATCHAGONNADO, BROTHER?" impression so I'm not too worried about the Hulk Hogan parts. It will be more interesting to see how Hemsworth handles the Terry Bollea parts of the story. Ignoring accents, Hemsworth's voice is just straight up higher than Hogan's.

My bigger concern is how they handle the other 80's superstars, because you can't do a Hogan doc without casting a Savage, Elizabeth, Piper, Andre, etc. Can't wait to hear who gets cast for those roles.

I'm curious as to how far into Hogan's career it'll go. Will we get to the formation of the nWo? If so, who will play Hall, Nash, Luger, and Sting?

Actors are actors because they have a skill of being able to plausibly represent people different from themselves. He'll be fine.

There's still fearless HHH defenders out there? Its pretty clear that on RAW that there's Triple H and then there's everyone else.
