Okay show. The will to live was getting sucked out of me through most of it. Heyman's promo was OFF. He really should have cut it from backstage to open up the show, but whatever. He came off as SD GM Heyman, instead of Mad Scientist Paul Heyman.
-The Dreamer v. Test match was okay. -Punk's promo was good. -Vampire and Shelley might be a good team.
Main event was unsettling, but awesome. I don't really want to see Show and Flair rolling around in thumb-tacks.
I'm not that sketched over the DQ. As it's been pointed out, I always got the vibe that ECW HAD rules, they just never enforced them. I'm cool with them not having 8 broken tables and chair shots in every match. Now, if they start using cop-out finishes to protect 'heat,' then we have a problem, but as of now whatever.
Syles and Tazz aren't very good, y'know.
Good rating for the show. Apparently the show is connecting with the fanbase. It seems we're starting to move forward a bit, too.
I wonder what Shane Douglas thought while watching this show?
I went to Fully Loaded 2000 in Dallas, and it ruled (if you hear one person going completely wild cheering while everyone else was chanting "bullshit" after Benoit beat the Rock for the WWF title - that would be me. I doubt it though).
