Vladimir Kozlov def. ECW Champion Matt Hardy (Non-title)

CM Punk def. Rey Mysterio (Intercontinental Title Tournament Finals)

Finlay def. Mark Henry (Belfast Brawl)

Batista def. Randy Orton

HBK reveals deal with JBL

Eight-Diva Santa's Little Helper Match
Michelle McCool, Maria, Mickie James and Kelly Kelly def Victoria, Natalia, Jillian Hall, and Marese

Kahli the Punjabi Playboy Kiss Kam kisses May Young.

World Heavyweight Champion John Cena def. Chris Jericho

Jeff Hardy def. Edge & Triple H (New WWE Champion)

I MARK for Jeff Hardy! They finally did it!

Boogeyman and Goldust Christmas. Boogeyman having teeth destroies the night crawler worm thing.

Crowd wasn't into parts of it and there were some intentional tension building segments where they left the crowd audio live where you could hear every little chant. EG: JBL and HBK deal.

***EDIT***
They really let Jeff soak in the win as the cut the commentary as he celebrated until got into the entrance ramp area.

WOW. I am *really* upset at myself for cutting it off before the final match. I just wasn't that into the card for some reason and I assumed there was no way my guy (Hardy) had any shot at the title. Guess I better look into watching the replay...

EDIT: I went back and watched the replay. I think the Hardy-Kozlov match was what was bothering me. Incredibly slow and painful. Excluding the Divas segment, things picked up nicely after that. Cena-Jericho and the triple threat matches were great.

A VERY good PPV. Worth checking out.

Hardy/Kozlov was okay. Kozlov is just horrible, but they had a fine little match.

Punk/Mysterio started out slow and kind of dull, but it picked up, and got GREAT toward the end. Poor Mysterio's nose exploded at the finish, so there's that.

I actually liked Henry/Finlay, but I may be in the minority. Not saying it was a great match, but I thought it was a fine little undercard match.

Batista/Orton was very good. Was surprised by the finish, though.

Divas match was fun because they had all six-guys on commentary, and they just sat back and cracked a bunch of inside jokes at each other, and it was grand. Actual match was what you'd expect.

Cena/Jericho was great. MUCH better than their match last month.

Hardy/Hunter/Edge was an AWESOME main-event. Just fantastic stuff. Personally, I would have held out on giving Hardy the belt until Mania, but I won't complain. It'll be interesting to see where they go from here, because I now have ZERO clue what's in store for WrestleMania.

The dark match tonight was Miz & Morrison beating Jesse & Festus.

Did anyone catch Lillian, when she announced CM Punk, she called him "one-half of the tag team champions"?

HSBC Arena was actually about 90% full, impressive because ticket sales were slow. I didn't have high hopes for the show, as the undercard didn't overwhelm me. But I really enjoyed it overall.

Matt vs. Kozlov was OK, but it spent a lot of time in the Kozlov Rest Zone. I was hoping Christian would return here and help Edge win, but I'll take a Jeff Hardy title victory as a consolation prize. Rey vs. Punk was excellent; Punk's finisher looked nasty live and even MORE nasty upon replay.

We were going to get a "Joey Styles" chant in on JBL, but he didn't hold the mic long enough for us to get it going; perhaps that was the plan. Henry vs. Finlay had enough weapons and extracurricular stuff to distract from the actual match. The backstage segment with Boogeyman and Santino as well as the Mae Young part were pretty funny live....I'm sure they were a lot funnier there than having to watch it on TV. Usually, I've found most things are like that with wrestling.

Batista vs. Orton was better than I expected it to be. I didn't think they'd mesh well in the ring. Jericho vs. Cena was alright, but I thought Jericho tapped too quickly. Main event was awesome, though the crowd was quiet at times, likely due to being worn out by the Cena match beforehand.

After the show, Jeff celebrated with his brother in the ring, HHH came in and shook his hand and raised his arms in victory, and Jeff climbed to the top of the Armageddon set to celebrate. It went on for a good 15 minutes after I presume the PPV ended.

Great show. If the last match didn't end the way that it did, it would still be a great show. Usually I rah rah rah at this type of thing (guy I like that you never expected to win...Wins....AKA CM Punk).

Kozlov looks really awkward when not tossing somebody in a weird suplex or holding someone in a......hold.

Punk and Mysterio was nice. Great yet ugly finish with a Super GTS. I swore I saw either cartilage near Rey's lip or a really large white booger.

I also really enjoy when the three commentating teams get together and shoot inside jokes during women's matches. It's like listening in on drunk uncles while they oogle young girls at the mall.

Someone's been watching TNA. Batista attempts and ugly Black Hole Slam and McCool is using the Style's Clash. Seeing the SC ripped off was the low point of the PPV for me. Also is it me or does Orton look alot more animated in the ring recently? I've noticed it since his lumberjack match with Punk his selling is a bit more over the top. Him getting frustrated over Batista kicking out then Flair-flopping into the corner into his knuckle push up snake stalk theatrics got a big laugh out of me, as well as him setting up for the punt kick. Who knew major collarbone surgery and a motorcycle accident could liven up your steps.

Cena actually did a proper STF instead of the outstretched arm bastard version he's been doing. Looks much more painful eh Cena? I hope he continues doing it properly cause that bothers the hell out of me.

Jeff hardy finally did it. I'm nowhere near as big a fan of his now as I was years ago, but I've been a fan of his since he and Matt we're the New Brood with Gangrel. It actually put a big smile on my face to see him with the title. It's corny sounding but I've grown up watching him make it to this point and it's kinda cool. I'm really hoping Jeff stays clean. Now where the hell do they go from here?

Perfect time for Smackdown to be born again Christian.....

Matt Striker rules it. From displaying the Slammy on his table, to *cradling it in safety* whenever the action got too close, to referencing John Nord (the Berserker) regarding Melina's boots. He should be a commentator forever.

Cole trumped Striker for me last night. If you go back and watch the end of the Belfast Brawl, Cole is in the background at the announce desk with his fists covering his mouth watching intently. When Finlay got the pin, Cole suddenly pumped both fists in the air and went, "YEAH!" Maybe he had money on Finlay last night.

McCool using the Styles Clash was weird, but what was even weirder was the other Divas being upset with her. Maria having a gripe is one thing, considering her recent issues with Michelle and the blind tag, but why were K2 and Mickie pissed off? Ladies, you won the match, what's with the attitude?

WWE Champion Jeff Hardy was a very nice Christmas gift from WWE.

I've never been the biggest Jeff Hardy fan, but I'm happy he won it finally, and with the exact finish I predicted(last month)! Let's just hope he doesn't screw this up. Isn't it odd though that he couldn't just win it from HHH straight up, they had to do the switch to Edge last month and *then* give it to Hardy in a Triple Threat. It's nice to see someone new with the belt, I just hope they don't CM Punk his title reign. Wonder who he defends against at the Rumble though? Most likely a 1-on-1 since they'll want to pack the Rumble with star power. Edge? HHH? Kozlov?

I'll call it now, Jericho wins back the title at the Rumble.

I wonder if they'll make Punk start using a new finisher, what with him breaking peoples' noses with it lately.

One thing WWE should be commended on lately is that they have been having mostly clean finishes to matches, even on TV. If only TNA could figure that out.

I really hope not. He's already changed it once since his debut (I still wish he used the Anaconda Vice as a 2nd Finisher). Plus I believe Punk got cut across the temple with The 619 in the match. A few inadvertently stiff hits and blood makes the match look even more dramatic afterwards, even if Mysterio looks like he was mauled.

They should really use that to promote how Kayfabe powerful and dangerous the move is into storyline ala Owen's botched piledriver to Austin.

I as wondering why Edge's reign was needed as well if this is where they were going. Unless it's so HHH can put Jeff over clean, one on one at Mania. But that match up is pretty stale at this point. If they "CM Punk" his reign, he will defend against Kozlov at the Rumble. If so, at least that leaves bigger names in the RR, which I really have no idea who will win. If I had to guess, it would be Batista.

Kelly Kelly is Jewy Jewy, ooooh. Barukh atah Adonai, Eloheinu, melekh ha'olam.

I too thought it was too soon for Edge to lose after he pulled off his latest big scheme, and Jeff winning at Wrestlemania would've been a special deal. But I'm really happy for Jeff. But why no HARDY PARTY HUG?

I wouldn't usually say this, but I need to watch that Divas match again. This is because I missed half the announcers' jokes because I was laughing so hard at what they would say. All of them were so great.

I gotta hand it to Cena. The match last month with Jericho on PPV was merely ok, but this one was great. And Cena was letting Jericho do a cool reversal on almost all of the moves that everyone else has to take. The DDT off the FU and stuff like that. And because of that, even though I thought Cena would retain, the reversal into the Codebreaker later in the match actually fooled me.

Thumbs up PPV, although I thought that having Boogeyman sing was a big mistake. Even with his wacky character, he is still a scary looking dude. But now, we can just all laugh at him.

I can't believe I put that much thought into the character of the Boogeyman. Ugh.

I wouldn't read too much into it. I think WWE's mindset was they wanted the big Jeff title win to be him pinning a heel, not a face. If Hardy has any sort of long reign (and at this point, I think he kind of has to hold it until at least Mania), I would be shocked if Hunter doesn't put him over clean at some point.

They should. The move looks horrible when he uses it on big guys, and this is the second face he's busted up with it.

One thing I WOULD like to complain about is the new announcing directive. Jim Ross was out there after Hardy's win, REALLY trying to give it a special feel, doing his classic big-moment calls. "FROM ENIGMA TO CHAMPION!!! A DREAM HAS BEEN REALIZED!!!"

Then, right in the middle, he and Tazz suddenly just shut up. I imagine Vince was screaming in their ear to stop, as Meltzer said Vince doesn't want those big screaming calls anymore. And I think it really took something away from the moment. Silence works at times. This was a time where JR was really adding to it, though.

I have to add he's been using it few months. I mean last few PPV's he's literally busted out pretty well but this PPV I think the timing and the way Orton came into it totally ruined the move other plus it does look out of place after seeing Abyss use the maneuver for years on end.

The Styles clash by McCool that's the one that really bothered me...I was like that's not even funny. You doing that. Thanks...why are you on my TV?

I'm no McCool fan. Not by a longshot. I gotta play Devil's Advocate a bit, though: What was so offensive about McCool using the Styles Clash? Wrestlers steal each other's moves all the time. The unwritten rule has always seemed to be not stealing the move of someone in your own company, but outside of the company is relatively fair game.

Why, if we're talking about Divas using TNA moves, Beth Phoenix used "Samoa Joe's muscle buster" as a finisher for most of last year into this year. Candice uses the Unprettier as a finish, which I also don't like, but I don't think it's *wrong* or *offensive*, per se. Like I stated before, I thought seeing McCool use the Styles Clash was weird, but was it wrong? It's a bad ass move and actually, I think it's extra bad ass to see a Diva bust out something like that.

But if the answer is "I just hated seeing Michelle McCool do it", I can get behind that. There's something intangible about her I just don't like.

I am sure they could come up with lamer names then Corre, but not by much. Well, at least we will won't hear the Nexus theme eight times during the Rumble. I am wondering with Long being gone and this champion vs.
